Cupid That Breaks The Rules

Chapter 27

Bryce's P.O.V.

"Dude whats up?" I asked.

"I don't know I was about to go down to hang with you and the girls but the boss called us up and it sounded important." Zach said.

"Do you think what I am thinking?" I asked.

"Yeah..." He said.

We went back to the base and walked to the office.

"How may I help you?" The guy working the counter said.

"The boss said to see him." Zach said.

"Okay go in." He said.

We walked in and saw him on the computer "Sit down boys" He said.

We sat down and he turned his attention to us. 

"So what I called you in today was to tell you that I think something is up the girls have been talking about supernatural a lot a lot more then before and I also realized when Zach said his computer wasn't working Bryce you were no where to be seen and that either means you were with that girl of yours and you told her something you weren't supposed to or you left the room to do something. Which I know for a fact you were not in this building because I asked around and so tell me now or your Cupid days are over. Oh I almost forgot you will go through our lie detector test so I know you are telling the truth." He said interlocking his fingers together smirking like he got us.

"Sir I did go down to see Bella but just to hang I promise I didn't say anything to them I do not want to loose my cupid." I said as truthful as I can.

"Oh good so you have no problem in coming in tomorrow at 3 to do the lie detector?" He asked raising his left brow.

I looked at Zach and back to the boss "No sir." I said. I am screwed.

"Well good now go to your rooms and don't forget to be here at 3 exactly at 3. 1 minutes after I will say you lied and ran. and if you do run I will find you and your punishment will be worse." He said.

"Okay sir. Have a good day." I said.

"You too boys" he said.

Zach and I walked out of the office and Zach looking at me like I went crazy. We got to the room and closed the door.

"Dude are you crazy he will find out." Zach said.

"Don't worry I have a plan." I said.

"Which is? I hope you don't say we lie during the test." He said.

"No all day today we are going to talk to the cupids and tell them that they have soulmates and the boss wasn't letting us know. We ask if they want to join us and fight him we will have a war going on." I said.

"But what happens if non of the cupids want to fight? Or just don't care if they have a soulmate or not?" Zach asked.

"Well we have to asked them." I said.

"and how are we going to do that with out getting caught?" Zach asked.

"Well you know that building next to the food court?" I said.

"Yeah the library." Zach said raised he brows.

"Yeah well in there there's no cameras or anything I need you to send a message to every cupid minus the boss of course and tell them to meet in the library at..." I looked at the clock it says its 5 pm "At 7 pm the boss usually is asleep by then anyways." I told Zach.

"Okay." Zach got to the computer and told everyone. 

"almost everyone is asking why and some said okay right away." Zach said.
