I got up and walked down the stair's just as they all came in the door. I didn't make eye contact with anyone and went and sat on the couch.
As I sat down my phone pinged to alert me to a Snapchat I had just received. I opened it up to see Lilah pulling a face with the caption "Any assholes around?". I smiled to myself, she always seemed to know when I needed a smile.
I glanced quickly over at Matt to see his Mom leaning over and saying something quietly in his ear and I watched as he replied, looking unhappy. What a surprise.
Just then Josh walked into the room "Hey I'm all set up. You coming to play?" he said to Matt.
"Of course." Matt replied and they walked into the T.V room.
I followed Matt with my eye's. Once upon a time that would've been me and him going in there to play games, but not now, not anymore.
I suddenly realised that I missed him, he was my best friend, for a long time, then suddenly, oneday, it was over and now he couldn't stand the sight of me.
I closed my eye's briefly as I realised that it still hurt alot, to know that he hated me and couldn't even stand being in the same room as me.
What was I thinking, he had made my life a living hell for the past 3 year's and it only seemed to be escalating.
"Why don't you go in and play?" My Mom asked.
I just looked at her, that didn't even warrant an answer and she knew it.
"Sorry." she mouthed as she walked into the kitchen.
I got up and followed her.
"You could alway's go hang out with the girl's." Mom said raising her eyebrow's at me.
"Oh god, I'd rather Matt." she looked at me again not sure whether to take me serious or not.
I honestly would prefer to sit there and listen to Matt than listen to those two girl's giggle and fangirl over their Boy Bands.
"Do you need help?" I aked Mom at exactly the same time she handed me the vegetable peeler.
