We spent the afternoon just laying around and swimming, and I have to say I was pretty uncomfortable the whole time.
Lilah and Jimmy sat together talking madly with eachother and Matt just layed there saying absolutely nothing, and I, well I just felt out of place.
Great, I thought, I'd bought Lilah along to keep me company but she was spending every minute with Jimmy and I was just sort of left hanging here, with nobody to talk too.
I went for a swim and when I got out I decided I would go back to camp and hang out with the girl's. At least it was company, even if all they did was talk about their stupid Boy Bands.
I grabbed my towel and walked back without saying anything to anyone, I doubted they would notice me missing anyway.
"Hey honey" Mom said as I went and sat on chair "Are you ok?" she asked.
"I'm fine Mom, just bored."
She looked at me with a sorry look in her eye's and went back to preparing dinner.
What the heck was I going to do to entertain myself tomorrow? Maybe I would get Dad to take me fishing.
Woah, I knew I was bored if I wanted to hang out with my Dad.
Lilah walked back into camp and made a beeline for me.
"Jimmy and I have a great idea for later on tonight." she whispered in my ear.
I looked at her questioningly, I could only imagine what their idea is.
"All you have to do is stay awake until midnight." she whispered and walked away over to the tent.
Stay awake til midnight, I was already tired now, I doubted I would still be awake at midnight.
Matt and Jimmy walked over and sat near me instantly bringing back my feeling of awkwardness. Did they not realise I was trying to avoid them.
"So" Jimmy asked "Did Lilah tell you about tonight?"
Matt rolled his eye's at me.
"Um yeah, but I can't guarantee I'll be awake then." I stated.
"That's cool, we'll just wake you." Jimmy said grinning.
"Wake who?" My Dad asked walking over.
"Ana, in the morning, we want to watch the sunrise." Matt blurted.
My dad looked at him and I felt something pass between them, and I got the feeling it wasn't nice.
Dad looked at me strangely and said "I need to speak to you later young lady." and walked off.
"Oooh what have you done?" Jimmy leant over and asked me.
I just shrugged, I had absolutely no idea, but I had a feeling it had something to do with Matt.
