Finn's POV

"So, you ready for the first night of the season?" My boss, Andrew, asked me while I was getting my makeup done. "Been looking forward to it all year, time to scare some kids." I replied, grinning. "There was actually a news article about us."
"Really?"
"Yeah, 'Stephen King-themed Haunted House set to open this Friday' the title read, that's some good publicity."
I nodded along, getting an annoyed look from the woman doing my makeup. "Okay, you're all set." She said and I walked out, saying goodbye to Andrew, to take my place in the haunted house. I was the main attraction, in a way, being Pennywise the clown. I grabbed some balloons and took my place, ready for the test run.

The test run went flawlessly, I actually managed to scare Andrew, and he knew exactly what was gonna happen and when. I got back in position, ready for the first wave of visitors. After about ten minutes I could hear the screams coming from the Carrie part and knew I had to get ready.

Millie's POV

"Why did I agree to do this?" I asked Noah, my best friend, while clinging to his arm as the doors opened. "I promised you skittles, let's go." I rolled my eyes, tightened my grip, and followed him into the dark. Time to be absolutely terrified. We walked down a dark hallway, Noah had paid extra money so we were the first people there, and I was close to just walking out of there when the hallway didn't seem to have an end. Noah gripped my hand and we kept going. "You know, this isn't actually so-" Noah was cut off by my screams as a huge dog attacked the fence next to me. I could see it in the sudden light. "Well I guess we start with Cujo." Noah said, laughing at my scared-ness.

We kind of got through most of the house, only when we reached the part that seemed to be Carrie did Noah also pause, bite his lip, shake his head, and then move forward with determination and terror on his face. I can't even describe what went down in there, let's just say there were a lot of deaths and I screamed so hard that my throat was raw. Also Noah seemed to have lost all power in him and I decided to protect him. Mostly just so I could feel brave.
"You know what this is, right?" Noah said, looking at the next area. I heard sickeningly happy music and smelled hotdogs. "IT" I said, looking at him. I pulled him along, planning to just power walk through it.

Finn's POV

Finally the first people are here, I could hear them talking outside but judging by the footsteps, they're coming now. I made sure I was perfectly in position to scare them and submerged myself in the water. This was why I specifically was cast for this role, I can hold my breath for three minutes. They were getting scared by the others and I prepared. Once they entered my room I charged towards them, slowly getting up. I didn't see her fist until it collided with my face. I was knocked straight out.

Millie's POV

"I just knocked out Pennywise." I said, still too shocked and scared to function. "Get him on his back or he'll drown." Noah said, pulling on the guy's side. I woke up from my trance and helped him roll the guy over. "So...what now?" I asked, and he shrugged. "I don't know, maybe ask the werewolf from earlier. He probably knows him." I slowly got up, dreading having to talk to that guy with his 'brains' showing and his bloody football jacket. "Mister werewolf?" I asked in the tiniest voice. "I'm afraid I knocked Pennywise out." I said, he came running towards me from the dark, growling in my face before passing me on all fours. They aren't allowed to break character. I heard growling come from the other room and Noah saying "okay okay, we're going." He came back for me and dragged me towards the exit. Luckily IT was the last one and when we got out Noah immediately went to someone who worked there. "I'm afraid Millie here punched Pennywise in the face and now he's unconscious." Noah quickly said, the worker immediately taking action and entering the house through a different door which probably went directly to IT because not a minute later he came out with Pennywise. "I'll stay with him, I don't hit too hard so he'll be back in a few." I said, nervously biting my nail. The people went back to their jobs and Noah excused himself to the bathroom and told me he'd get us some food.

Finn's POV

I woke up with my face feeling slightly numb and my lungs aching. "Where am I?" I mumbled before opening my eyes. "Still next to the Haunted House." A voice next to me carefully said. I opened my eyes to see a gorgeous 16 or so girl sitting on the floor next to my stomach. "Hey." I say, smiling at her. "Flirting isn't gonna work, you look like Pennywise. I'm sorry for knocking you out." She said, smiling back. "Oh right, I should be in character right now." I said, frowning. "Please don't."
"Did you say you knocked me out?"
"Yeah."
I started chuckling. "You've got one hell of a right hook." She laughed with me. "When I'm not bloody and in full costume, wanna go out sometime?" I asked, sitting up now to look her in the eyes. "Yeah, sure!" She said, taking out her phone. "Here, put your number in it." She said and I did so.
"Hey, you're up, good." Someone behind me spoke up. "Hey Noah." She replied. "Hey Millie." He answered before raising his eyebrows at me. "Oh, uhm, Pennywise the clown, nice to meet you." I said, getting some laughter from both of them. "Really my name's Finn Wolfhard." I then said, looking at Millie again. "Okay that last name is badass." She said, helping me up. I laughed and told her I needed to get back to my post in the House. We said goodbye and she promised to call me later.
