Millie buried her face in Sadie's shoulders as she laughed loudly at the movie. Sadie ran her hand through Millie's hair as she laughed along. She didn't know what Millie was laughing about as she wasn't paying attention but she was laughing because Millie seemed so happy. Millie eventually stopped laughing and turned back to the movie, still with a huge grin on her face. The movie finally ended and Millie turned towards Sadie. The latter squeezed Millie with the arm that was already around her shoulders. Millie smiled up at her and Sadie smiled back, leaning in. Millie did the same and they met in the middle, that sweet kiss soon turning into a whole lot more.

Sadie silently thanked god Caleb was on the other side of the country.
