AMELIAS POV
I opened my eyes slowly and Owen was looking right at me.
"Hey," I said.
"Good afternoon," he laughed.
"Hm?" I mumbled and sat up.
"We slept until 2," he laughed.
"Oh," I laughed. I got up and kissed Owen's cheek. Owen got up behind me and we walked down the stairs.
"Damn you guys sleep late," Addison said.
"Better than waking up at like 4 every morning, and why aren't you at the practice?" I asked.
"You think I'm going to work on our first day together?" She laughed, "except you guys slept half the day away." We both laughed.
"Yeah sorry about that," Owen laughed.
"You're cute," I said as I walked past him.
"Ew get a room," Addison laughed.
"Shut up," I said.
"Wanna swing by the practice?" She asked.
"James gonna be there?" I asked.
"Probably," she said.
"Well I don't care we can go anyway," I said, "you can meet my friends." I looked at Owen. Owen and I went upstairs and got dressed.
"So, are you worried about seeing this James?" Owen asked.
"Uh no, would you be uncomfortable if we saw him?" I asked.
"No," he said.
"Okay," I said. We went back downstairs and we all drove over to the practice. We went up the elevator and the doors opened.
"Guess who I brought?" Addison said. Naomi turned around in the kitchen.
"Amelia!!" I ran up and gave her a hug.
"Omg I've missed you!" she said.
"Missed you too," I said.
"And who is this handsome man you have brought?" She said.
"Owen, my boyfriend," I smiled.
"You better treat her right you know," Naomi said to Owen.
"Guys stop threatening him," I laughed.
"Was that Amelia I heard?" Charlotte said walking in.
"Charlotte!" I said and hugged her.
"And who is this?" she asked.
"My boyfriend Owen," I said.
"Hi," he said.
"You know if you-" she started. I cut her off by saying, "okay we get it you'll kill him, where's sam and Sheldon?" I laughed.
"Amelia?" James said. I turned around and saw his face. The way his tone changed and his face dropped as he said my name.
"Um hi," I said.
"Hey how you been?" He asked.
"Pretty good you?" I said.
"Fine thanks," he said. He walked off and I felt really bad. Sam broke my thoughts by walking in.
"Hey!" He said.
"Sam!" I said as he wrapped his arms around me. Sheldon walked in behind him and gave me a hug too.
"What are you like ten now," sheldon joked.
"Yeah let's go with that," I laughed, "where's coop?"
"He's at the hospital," Charlotte said.
"Okay," I said. We all sat down in the kitchen and talked for a while. I could see James sitting alone at his desk looking up at us every once in a while.
"Um I'll be right back," I said to violet. I opened his office door and he looked up.
"Okay what the hell amelia," he said.
"I-I just want to say I'm sorry okay," I said.
"Sorry for what? Ditching me and coming back with your boyfriend?" He said.
"Um yeah," I said.
"You know what? Screw you amelia shepherd, I hope you rot in hell," he said. I walked out of his office and slammed his door I grabbed Owen's arm and walked into the bathroom. I locked the door behind us.
"Amelia what's wrong? What did he say to you?" He said. I wrapped my arms around his waist. I put my head into his chest and stood there for a while.
"He told me to rot in hell," I said quietly.
"I'm going to beat him up," he said.
"No," I said, "do not make things worse please."
"Amelia," he said.
"No, you can not beat him up," I said.
"Fine," he said. He put his hands on my waist and kissed me softly.
"I have a good idea," I said.
"Okay shoot," he said.
"We get out of here and go to the beach, we can see everyone later," I said.
"Sounds good," he said.

I got changed and I was waiting for Owen downstairs. He came downstairs shirtless holding a towel.
"You're hot," I said.
"Not as hot as you," he smiled. We walked down to the beach holding hands. I love him so much.
"Can we go in the water?" I asked.
"Yeah sure," he said. I jumped on his back and he walked down to the ocean.
"Is it cold?" I asked as he stepped in.
"It's not too bad," he said. I jumped off his back and ran into the water.
"Come on!" I laughed as he was still standing in the sand.
"Okay okay," he said. He came in and followed me. We went over the waves together and talked for a while. I felt like time stopped with him and nothing else mattered. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.
"This is nice," he said.
"We should do this more often," I said.
"Definitely," he said.
"Do you believe in heaven and hell?" I asked.
"You're not going to hell Amelia," he said.
"That wasn't the question," I said.
"Well yeah I do," he said.
"Do you think my baby is in heaven," I said.
"Yes," he said.
"Me too," I said.
"Amelia don't move," he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"There's a shark behind you," he said. I jumped onto him and screamed. He started laughing.
"Owen!" I yelled, "don't do that, you scared me."
"You're cute," he said as he kissed me. I broke the kiss and hit him.
"I'm serious don't do that," I laughed.
"Okay," he said. It started getting really dark and the waves gradually became bigger. We ran out of the ocean and wrapped ourselves in towels. I was so cold and I think Owen was too.
"Go back?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said. We walked back up to the house and Addison was on the deck.
"Hey," she said.
"Hi," I said.
"You okay?" She asked.
"I'm okay," I said.
"Can I beat James up?" She asked.
"No," I said.
"Okay fine," she said. I smiled and she smiled back. She got up and gave me a hug.
"I love you okay?" She said.
"I love you too Addie," I said.
