OWENS POV
Amelia was passed out next to me in bed. She started snoring and she rolled into me. I'm so thankful for her in my life. We had so much fun today and I love her so much. I grabbed my laptop and looked at a couple cases Kepner emailed me. Eventually I got tired and fell asleep.
-
"Owen," Amelia whispered.
"What?" I complained. I was still half asleep.
"Get up," she said.
"No," I said.
"Oh come on," she tried to roll me over.
"Why?" I asked.
"I want to go see the sunrise," she said.
"5 more minutes?" I complained.
"No get up," she laughed.
"Ugh fine," I said. She got up and put on one of my sweatshirts. We walked down the stairs quietly in our pajamas and sat on the deck. The sun started to come up and Amelia put her head on my shoulder.
"It's so pretty," she said.
"Not as pretty as you," I said and kissed her softly.
"Nice one Owen hunt," she giggled. I put my arm around her and we leaned our heads into each other's. Amelia took a few pictures of the sunrise. We watched the sunrise for a while. The sun was finally all up and Amelia yawned.
"Okay I am not a morning person I'm going back to bed," she said.
"Me too, do not drag me out of bed every morning," I laughed.
"Okay fine," she said. She opened the guest bedroom door and flopped on the bed. She cuddled into me and closed her eyes.
"Night," she mumbled.
"Morning," I laughed. She nuzzled her head into my chest and fell asleep.
-
I woke up around 11 and Amelia was still sleeping. I fixed my hair and got dressed. I walked downstairs and Addison was in the kitchen.
"Damn you guys can sleep," she laughed.
"Well Amelia woke me up at 4 to watch the sunrise," I laughed.
"Surprised she got up that early," she laughed. I made coffee and Addison went off to the practice. I channel surfed for a while. Amelia came down the stairs in her pajamas. Her hair was in a cute messy ponytail and she was on her phone. She wasn't paying attention so I wrapped my arms around her waist. She put her hand on top of mine.
"Hi honey," she said.
"Morning," I said and kissed her cheek.
"Morning," she yawned and put her phone down. She turned around and kissed me softly.
"I love you," she said, "and I want a life with you."
"I want a life with you too, because I love you," I said.
"Will you marry me?" she asked.
