6 MONTHS LATER
AMELIAS POV
Today I go back to work. Owen goes in a few hours after me and I don't want to leave the kids.
"I don't want to leave them," I said.
"Amelia they will be fine," Owen said kissing my head.
"You'll call me if anything is wrong right?" I said.
"Of course I will," he said.
"Okay, well I have to go," I said sadly. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I said. I walked over to where Emma and Mark were playing. Lately they've been saying little gibberish sayings but no real words yet. I picked up Mark.
"Hey little guy, mommy's going to work," I said. I kissed his cheek, "mommy loves you." I put him down and picked up Emma.
"Hi princess, mommy's going to work," I kissed her cheek as well, "mommy loves you too."
I put her back down and her and Mark were playing with their toys.
"I don't want to go," I whined.
"Amelia they will be fine without you, and they are going to daycare in a few hours and then you can see them okay?" Owen said reassuringly.
"Okay," I said.
"Okay come here," he said and wrapped his arms around me again. He kissed my forehead and then my lips.
"Have a good day," he said, "I love you."
"Have a good day as well," I said, "I love you too." I grabbed my bag and walked out to the garage. We finally got another car, just having the truck was very dysfunctional. I got into the car and opened the garage door. I pulled out and closed the door and started driving to work. I parked and called Owen.
"Amelia they are good okay?" He said.
"Okay I'm just checking," I said.
"Yes, they are good and I'll call you if anything is wrong, I'll see you soon," he said.
"Okay," I said.
"Love you," he said.
"Love you too," I said. I got out of my car and Meredith was next to me.
"Amelia!" She said. We both started laughing. I hugged her tightly.
"I literally saw you last week," I laughed.
"Yes I know," she laughed, "good to be back?"
"Yes, of course, I just miss them so much," I said.
"Aw I know," she said.
