AMELIAS POV
Today we can take Emma and Mark home. Owen and I are so excited to be home with them and show them their cute rooms we decorated. Even though they are 4 days old and won't be able to comprehend anything we still want to show them. I had Mark in my arms and Owen was carrying Emma.
-
We got inside and Emma fell asleep on Owen. He was so cute with her. He carried her upstairs and put her down in the crib in our room. We were gonna let them sleep in our room for a few weeks. I still had Mark in my arms and I kissed his head.
"Hey little guy," I said. Owen came back out of the bedroom and Mark turned his little head.
"You wanna go see daddy?" I asked. I put him in Owen's arms and we walked down the hallway and went into marks room. Owen was talking to him all cute and I heard emma cry from the other room.
"I got it," I said.
"Okay," he said. I walked into the bedroom and picked emma up.
"Hey don't cry," I said softly. I held her close and she stopped crying. She had her cute small head on my shoulder and Owen was still with Mark. I walked emma over to her room and I showed her some small things. She was absolutely adorable. She moved her tiny hands over a few things and pointed to a couple things. I could hear Mark crying from the other room. Owen came in with him and looked at me.
"I can't get him to stop I think he wants you," he said.
"Okay," I said, "I'll switch you." We both laughed. He handed me Mark and he stopped crying. As he grabbed emma she started to cry.
"I can hold both of them," I said.
"You sure?" He said.
"Yeah," I said and smiled at them. After a few minutes emma started crying. I let Owen hold her and we went downstairs with them. After a while Emma and Mark fell asleep.
"I'll bring them upstairs," Owen said.
"Okay can you turn the baby monitor when you go up?" I said.
"Yeah," he said. I was so tired. I took the baby monitor out and turned it on. Owen came downstairs and we were both super tired. I got up and hugged him tightly.
"I love our family," he said.
"Me too," I said.
