"So, I turned to Clara and I told her she can stick her prom queen crown up her bleached ass hole". I watch Archie laugh and lean away from me.
"You really said that?" He taunts and leans back on his elbows.
"Well.. no. But I was thinking it". Archie chuckles loudly and I lay my head down by his in the grass. For a few moments it's quiet, the clouds move past us as though they have more important people to impress and the grass sways, gracing us with their touch every now and then. "I probably didn't get asked to prom because I'm not pretty enough. Maybe that's why I'm so sour about it," I mumble.
Suddenly I feel Archie sit up and his face appears above mine. "C'mon, you can't actually think that, Y/N".
"Whatever. I don't know why no one asked you either. I mean everyone likes you," I ramble on and sit up.
"Y/N, you're so pretty. I hate how you can't see that you really are so beautiful" Archie says, shaking his head in disbelief and ignoring what I'd said. My eyes widen and he holds eye contact, a serious look plastered to his face.
"Y'know, I don't really hate the idea of prom.." I smile and Archie puffs out his chest playfully.
"Y/N Y/L/N, will you do me the honor of being my date to prom?"
