Hermione's P.O.V

I woke up groggy and sick. Blaise was sitting by me on the bed, reading a book.

I felt horrible.

"Blaise?" I croaked.

"Hey sleepy head," he grinned. "How do you feel?"

"Not good," I mumbled.

"I told you to stop after one and a half bottles, but no, you wanted to keep drinking," Blaise rolled his eyes.

I sat up, feeling a hundred things as I did so. Nausea, pain, and weakness. I bolted out of the bed and to the bathroom.

Blaise quickly followed and held my hair back.

"Geez, I feel terrible," I moaned.

Blaise cleaned up and grabbed me in his arms. He set be back on the bed.

"Thanks."

We were quiet for a couple minutes.

"What exactly happened yesterday?" I asked quietly.

"Well, you drank a ton of firewhisky, you told me everything about you and Draco, and you were completely wasted. You kept thinking Theo was gonna hurt you for taking his firewhisky," he listed.

"Oh," I blushed.

"Granger, you should know that we aren't like that. None of us would hurt you unless you would get hurt more if we didn't. Like that time Draco hit you, he really didn't want to," he told me.

I felt my face get hotter when he said something I'd told him.

"Do you think I can see Draco today?" I asked excitedly.

"I'll take you when the hangover wears off a bit more," he smiled.

I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. He was shocked for a second, then returned the embrace.

"Thank you!" I grinned as I pulled back.

"Don't mention it."

I felt nauseous again.

"Alright, when we get there, you don't leave my side until we're in Draco's room. Don't talk to anyone. Keep your eyes down. Act like I own you," Blaise instructed.

I nodded at each instruction. He grabbed my arm and apparated.

I stumbled when my feet hit solid ground. I caught myself quickly. Blaise tightly held my upper arm and led me through the hospital. I heard a few murmurs.

"Is that Hermione Granger?"

"She's just a slave."

"Ha! Look at how broken she is!"

"What happened to her face?"

I winced at that last one. I knew Draco was lying to me.

Blaise picked up the pace, and I tried to ignore the comments. He shoved me into a room. The moment I saw Draco, I was frozen.

"Hermione?" He asked, trying to sit up.

A bunch of things washed through me. Worry, releif, fear, happiness...

He looked horrible. His normal pale skin was almost white. I could see wounds showing from the top of his gown. He looked exausted just sitting up.

"Well, come here!" He urged me.

I quickly shuffled towards him.

"I'm gonna go see how Theo’s doing," Blaise stated, shutting the door on his way out.
