Draco's POV
Mother insisted on showing me the house. I left as soon as we finished looking at it. It was perfect, of course, so she was going to try and get it for me.
When I was finally able to leave, I went straight to my room. Hermione was out cold.I saw a sleeping drought and picked it up. Only a little was gone, but I was glad she took it before she slept. She didn't really need a nightmare right now.
I moved next to her and waited.

The moment Hermione woke up I started telling her about the house. At first she was worried because I'm moving out. She kept asking if I was sure, and that I didn't have to move because of her. After I'd assured her that I would have to move eventually anyway, she was excited.
"When are we moving in?" She asked.
"As soon as Mother can buy the house, so probably a week or two," I smiled.
I'd given her a pain relief potion, so she wouldn't feel anything from her previous nightmare. She was moving onto my lap when she spotted something.
"Theo did stitches?" She asked, looking at her leg.
"It will heal much faster than it did with the bandages," I explained.
She looked closely at something I knew would make her smile.
"They're red and gold," she laughed. "That's sweet."
"Yeah, he decided it would be cooler to have colored stitches, so he did Gryffindor colors."
It wasn't long before she realized she had more than just those stitches. She was quiet for a little while.
"So we're really moving out?" She asked, smiling again.
"Do you want to help me pack?" I asked in reply.

That night, Hermione was so excited that she didn't argue with me at all. She ate all the food she was given and took the sleeping drought without a word of protest.
She was asleep beside me now. She was so peaceful.
Mother found out she was able to get the house in a week with a bit of bribing. Hermione and I packed a couple things, but not much yet.
Mother already picked out a ton of furniture for the house. It was Victorian style, so she got furniture to match. It had five bathrooms and seven bedrooms.
"Perfect for little Malfoys," I remember Mother saying.
I smiled at the thought.
Draco's P.O.V (one week later)
Hermione and I just finished packing the last box. I picked it up and apparated to the house.
I stacked it on the small pile of boxes in the livingroom. I apparated back.
"Ready to go see it?" I asked Hermione.
She nodded excitedly, so I held her close and apparated.
The moment she saw the house, she stumbled back into my arms. I caught her easily as she stared at the house.
"It's beautiful!" She squealed, finding her footing.
She was right. The huge Victorian style house was white with black roofing and shutters. The detail put into it was amazing. Every detail was beautiful.
I swept her into my arms and started to carry her to the house.
"What are you doing?" She asked me.
"Carrying you inside. I know we're not married yet, but engaged will just have to do," I stated, opening the door with her still in my arms.
She gasped when she saw the living room. It had dark green walls with white trim. The furniture was white leather. It had a couch, two arm chairs, and a large TV. I knew she would like the last one. It was all lit by a huge chandelier that hung from the high ceiling. There was a small pile of boxes in the corner.
"The living room," I started.
I carried her to the first bedroom. Then the second. On and on. I finally made it to the master and set her in the doorway.
The room was beautiful. It had a red and silver theme. It was a bit of both of us. The bed had a red quilt with silver thread. Two walls were red, while the other two were silver. It looked a bit odd, but we weren't a normal couple in this war.
Hermione was frozen. I picked her up again and set her on the bed.
"What are you thinking?" I asked, kneeling in front of her.
"It's ours?" She squeaked.
"Yes, Love," I laughed. "It's all ours."
I wasn't surprised when her arms wound around my neck, and she hugged me. I tightly hugged her back.
Mother suddenly appeared in the doorway.
"Lucius will be here in a few minutes. Break it up," she waved at us.
Hermione let go.
"Hermione, I want you to stay in here while we're unpacking. It's best that you stay out of the way. Mother is planning a party later. I want you to stay safe," I told her.
"Okay."
Hermione's P.O.V (Later)
The music downstairs was vibrating the house. Draco had locked all the bedroom doors, so we wouldn't have to worry about washing sheets already.
Like six people tried the doorknob already, and Draco put anti - apparation wards on the room. I was completely safe in here.
I slowly got up and made my way to the bathroom. I wanted a bath and this is probably the one time I can have one.
I gasped when I saw the huge bathroom. It had a jacuzzi and everything. I shut the door and went to take a bath.
