Winning: A Team Crafted Fanfic

Chapter 1

Hey there! My name is Kayla. I am a total nerd when it comes to Minecraft. Most of my friends are online because of this game. I do also have some friends at my high school. I only have two best friends though. Their names are Lacy and Peter. The best part is, they both play video games, just like me! Now you are probably really thinking that I'm a nerd now huh? Well I can assure you that I also do sports. When I play basketball everyone gets wrecked. My team and I are undefeated champions. I am 5'7", making it easier to dunk the ball, with wavy, dark brown hair. My eyes are a sparkly green that sometimes change to a crystal blue. My absolute favorite game to play on Minecraft is One in the Quiver. I have a few videos on YouTube with me playing it and just overall having a good time. I definitely smashed everyone in those rounds.

Today after school I met Lacy and Peter outside by the flower garden. I was leaned up against the wall when I saw them walk up. "You know today they are having a tournament on Mineplex, right," I started. "But Kaylaaaa! The prom is today," said Lacy. I gave a small frown, "I know Lacy... I have no one to go with though. No one likes me, I can assure you." Peter and Lacy shook their heads, "You don't know that!" "I bet there are plenty of guys that have their eyes on you," stated Peter. "Well you have your eyes on Lacy," I fired back. Both of their faces turned a bright red. "I'm not going," I said as I stood up.

I jogged over to my bus and made my way to the back. As I plopped down into the seat I heard my phone buzz. I took it out and saw a text from Lacy: "I'm making you go to the prom, I hope you know that right? Peter and I will be at your house at 7. :)" I sighed and put my phone back into my pocket. I'm going to regret this, I know it.
