Percy POV:
Honestly that fight had taken a little out of me, and I was immensely glad to be back home where I could lie down and sleep forever. Well, not forever. Paul still made me go to school, he had to after all, and today was Sunday.
I threw open the door, startling Paul, who was sitting at the kitchen table nursing a cup of coffee and a book.
I sat down, and noticed the bags under his eyes looked more prominent. I hope the guy is still doing okay, or as best he can. Even while we saw each other everyday and had many conversations, most of it was small talk or comforting words.
"What happened?" He asked, I suppose the weariness showed on my face.
"Couple government agents tried to jump me, nothing I couldn't handle," I sighed, standing up.
"I'm going to Olympus, bye Paul."
"Don't aggravate them too much."
With that I shuffled over to my room, closing and locking the door. As much as I wanted to go to sleep, I had to inform Olympus of this. If somehow they did manage to detain me, the world of the gods could be revealed to mortal ears. I heaved yet another sigh, and flashed away.

On Olympus

Hermes POV:
To say the Olympian council was shocked was an understatement. Not by the new god's announcement of being hunted by the gov, but rather how broken Percy looked, like he didn't care if they tortured him for the rest of his godly days. Percy hadn't met with any of the Olympian gods since the battle, and I'm not sure quite what we were expecting, but it surely wasn't this.
I could understand that, he had been made a god before the final battle with Gaea. It had a probably seemed a blessing at the time, to be spared from potential death, but had quickly turned into the most horrid of curses, which perhaps we weren't quite taking into account.
I was partly to blame for it though. It was Athena who brought up the idea of turning our most powerful demigod into one of us gods to prevent him from death and increase the odds of Gaea's defeat. The rest of the council seemed sceptical, but I had whole-heartedly agreed with the wisdom goddess, after all, who could possibly deserve godship more than Percy Jackson, soon to be the double saviour of Olympus right? I couldn't get over that. I consider Percy a real friend, who are always sparse with gods, and it pains me to think that I may have been a contributor to his emotional anguish, although he has insisted that he doesn't blame me, or Athena.
"What do you want us to do about this Percy?" Poseidon queried.
He sighed, "Nothing, I can handle a few government agents. But this means they may have or could get info about the Greek or Roman gods."
"Yes, thank you for the warning, the council is adjourned," Zeus bellowed, as we started to go our separate ways.
I hurried over to Percy to talk to him before he left. I caught his arm lightly, and he spun around.
"Lord Hermes," He greeted, and paused for a moment, "Do I still have to call you Lord?"
I chuckled, "Don't bother with it Percy, we're friends right?"
It was a rhetorical question, we both knew we were, but at the word 'friends' panic, followed by fear flashed in his eyes. Only making me worry.
"Hey Percy are you doing alri-better?" I caught myself. He wouldn't be alright so soon after the deaths of six of the seven.
"Yeah I am," I said it so quickly, I was sure he was lying.
"Really?"
"Yes," he hesitated, "Ugh, no."
I refused to let my face show any sympathy at the statement, he wouldn't like that. It's probably why he hasn't told anyone except those closest to him or his deceased friends about it.
"Maybe you should talk to someone," He shot me the beginning of a glare and opened his mouth to reply, but I continued, "No, I don't mean a therapist or school counsellor, I mean a friend. Nico, Reyna, Apollo or I. Or even Clarisse, but she might only whack some sensibility into you."
He tried for a smile, but it never reached his eyes.
"Maybe,"
I gave him a reassuring grin and a small wave, before I let him leave.

AN: I don't yet have a reason as to why everyone died in the battle with Gaea, because I haven't read the end of The Blood of Olympus. I'll finish it as soon as possible, so Percy won't be opening up to any characters any time soon.
