Percy Jackson and The Avengers Crossover

Chapter 31

Percy POV:

I gaped for a minute, "Nico? Where's Hermes and Apollo."

"Upstairs, detaining that redheaded girl and the guy who I fought earlier." He said, somewhat impatiently, and reached to grab my arm.

"Wait what? Why?" I said, and moved my arm. As much as I didn't want to admit it, I was slightly worried for them. Afterall, they hadn't exactly been torturous. They were nice, in fact. Not to mention that Thor guy didn't sell me out.

"They were there, now come on." I let Nico grab my arm, and he shadow-travelled us to an office I didn't recongnize. Sure enough, however, Hermes and Apollo were on the ground pinning Natasha and a guy I also didn't recongnize beneath them.

We were standing behind a desk, and what surprised me, was that there was another Nico standing at the front of the room. The other Nico dissipated as soon as the real one walked around the table and stood in front the others.

"Alright guys, how much do you know?"

Natasha POV:

I watched in slight awe, as the Nico standing in front of us vanished, and another one, the real one I'm assuming, strode forward.

He kneeled down just as the other had, "Alright guys, how much do you know?"

Clint closed his gaping mouth, then opened it again to speak. "How'd you do that?"

Hermes smirked down at him, "We've got a few tricks up our sleeves."

Fighting the urge to roll my eyes, my attenion returned to Nico as he repeated his question.

"About what?" Clint replied, I kept my mouth shut, but my eyes where scanning the room. I finally noticed Percy standing awkwardly behind the desk, like he wasn't really sure what to do.

"Clearly not on Percy's whereabouts, as he's right there." Percy grimaced at my statement, but stepped forward.

"Nico, I told her a lot. Up to the Battle of Manhattan." Nico made a sort of 'why?' gesture, and Percy shrugged.

"But after that? Does she know what happened after Manhattan?" I assumed Nico was talking about him, Percy, and the six other teenager who were in Greece and Italy. But from the way Percy stiffened as his eyes glassed over, I could tell nothing good happened. In fact, all of them grimaced, but Nico and Percy looked like they could start crying at any moment.

I was about to ask what happened, but Apollo shook his head above me, and spoke to Nico, "So we know she knows the basics, but what about him?" He asked with a nod at Clint.

"He wasn't there, there was nobody but Percy and I."

Clint looked from me, to Percy, to Nico, "Ok so what's going on here that I don't know about?"

Percy sighed, "We're all Greek gods, blah blah blah you know that. Either way this is the third war in, what, three years? The first was against the old titan king Kronos, the second against the literal earth, and the third, if you can call it a war at all, it's more of a one-way thing right now, is against hell himself. We're not entirely sure, but I think it's safe to say that hell wants us dead because we made sure his lover didn't wake up."

"Wait," Clint interrupted, "didn't wake up like she's dead or..?"

"Well his lover is the Earth Goddess, Gaea, the one we fought the second war against. So no, she's not dead, just asleep. And if she ever wakes up she'll eradicate you all." Hermes said with a leisurely smile, as if that wasn't the biggest thing he's ever faced. Then again, it might not've been.

"Oh. Alright then... I guess." I glanced at Clint. I could tell he was unsure of what to make of this, I shared the thought.

"So, what do you want?" I burst, impatient. If we really wanted to know anything about everything I suppose now would be or chance to ask, I was starting to get sore from being crushed against the ground for so long while the others were having a nice chat.

Percy opened his mouth to speak, but the door burst open, and Thor came flying through, hammer in hand and a panicked look on his face.

AN: Sorry that took so long, since it's the end of the term in school I haven't had a large chunk of free time, so I've been writing bits and pieces at a time. Because I have so many tests/ projects at the moment I'm going to be updating only once a week for the next two or so weeks. The schedule will go back to normal on the 22nd of December at the latest. Sorry!
