Clint POV:
I was sitting in an empty meeting room, looking over all the documents and reports about Perseus Jackson, trying to connect the dots. There were plenty of terrorist organisations in New York, but none were known to use children in this manner. I'd had nothing better to do, so Fury assigned me to this. Why not Bruce or something? He likes reading and logic puzzles.
I finished the last file for the third time, before closing it and standing. I needed a break, some coffee maybe.
So I wandered down the halls towards the nearest coffee machine. As I was walking, I couldn't help but notice the slight disarray of people. That's when I saw the warning on every screen. 'Security breach.'
That would've been nice to know before I left highly confidential files open in an unlocked room.
I sighed, forgetting about the coffee, and turned back in the direction I came.
As I approached the closed door I paused. I was sure I'd left it slightly ajar, just so I could open it without a free hand incase I brought back food too.
The warning flashing through my mind, I pulled out a small knife I always kept hidden on my person, then lightly turned the door knob, peeking through the slit between the door and frame.
Sure enough there was a person standing by the files, skimming through a few. I dug through memories, trying to recongnise him. He was young, 15 maybe, with a goth look. Pale, black clothing, dishevled hair, skulls, the works.
I opened the door fully, stepped inside, and shut it again, the threat spun around, knocking the files on the ground.
I learned against the door nonchalantly, hiding the weapon in my palm.
"You really couldn't have thought a room with only one exit is a viable place to read things you really shouldn't be, right?"
A small piece of fear settled into his eyes, as they darted around the room, trying to prove me wrong. I was leaned on the closed door, and behind it were only more obstacles for him, I wasn't worried.
His eyes stopped jumping around and settled on me, looking more irritated than anything, and he opened his mouth to speak.
Before he could utter a sound, I had lunged, grabbed him, and pressed his stomach to the wall, my knife testing the distance from neck to wall.
"Before you say anything stupid, tell me who Perceus Jackson works for, since you seem to be so interested,"
"Wanna know so bad? Read a book," He spat.

Nico POV:
I can't say that I didn't think I'd get caught, but I should've just taken the files and shadow travelled outta there. I'm in hostile territory, plus if these are government agents find the holes in my life they'll only be more suspicious. Mentally cursing myself, I zipped my gaze around the room. He's right. No windows or other doors, the only exit is the blocked door, or the shadows. The absolute last thing I want to do is waste my energy, and give this guy a front row seat to a spectacular demonstration of my powers.
I was about to say something, then I was pushed against the wall with a knife to my throat. My mind was already going a million miles an hour, trying to figure out an escape route.
"Before you say anything stupid, tell me who Perseus Jackson works for, since you seem to be so interested,"
There was a slight sarcastic note to his voice that pissed me off.
"Wanna know so bad? Read a book,"
I could feel him glaring at the back of my head, and smirked at the wall, whilst subtly opening a small crack in the floor, just enough to trip on.
I knocked my head back, slamming into his and avoiding the knife, and crouched, rolling back and forcing him to step backward into my small but effective trap.
He fell, and I bolted from the room and down the hall, searching for a desolated shadow. There had been a notice of Percy's latest sighting, and what this agency plans to do about it. He'd be running right into their trap.

AN: I apologise for updating quite scarcely, I'm trying to update twice a week but I've been rather busy lately. I'll have the issue taking up my time fixed soon, and should have more time to update after the 24th.
On a better note, 2k reads! As I said only a few chapters ago, when that number was at 800 mind you, I want to thank everyone yet again. For voting, commenting, reading, all of it.
Thank you!
(I also want to apologise in case you guys are getting tired of my thankings. It's only that this is my first time publishing my writing and I'd never expected this.)
