Percy POV:
I'd sat in that corner, silently sobbing, for a while, but then I realized yet again I was in a hostile environment, no matter how nice the people seem, and I had to shrug off any weaknesses before Doctor Banner, Tony, and the god Thor returned. I didn't care much for self-pity, and did so. By then my head was in the game. Once my chaotic emotions subsided and my mind returned, the name Thor, and why I remembered it, came to me. Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Zeus had gone on about something about him once when Athena mentioned he wasn't the only god of thunder. Whatever Asgardian meant though, still escaped me.
Eventually they came bursting through the door again, and Thor stepped up to interrogate me this time.
"Tell me, strange god, what are you? Where do you hail from? Asgard?" He shouldn't have asked so many questions at once, it gave me time to think about how to answer the important ones, while I smart-mouthed away about another. He wasn't very good at this.
"Like you just said, a god." I replied, leaning back in my chair.
"But where do you hail from?" At least he didn't forget about the other questions, unlike a few campers I'd seen try to interrogate something.
"Asgard, as you said."
"I've never heard of a Perseus on Asgard."
Tony left, I thought nothing of it.
"Maybe you ought to check your records then."
Thor shot me a look, one that said he still wasn't sure. "You're lying"
"I'm not."
I heard a sigh from Doctor Banner, who was leaning by the door.
"Then why haven't I-" Whatever Thor was about to say was cut off, by Redhead banging through the door.
"The only Perseus I've heard of is from the Greek myths." She said, coming over to stand by Thor, ignoring Tony, who came back slightly panting.
Thor chimed in again, "He says he's from Asgard, I think not."
"Is that so? Well," Redhead said, "I think you're a runaway terrorist, possibly working for HYDRA, with a weapon inside you mimicking godly power. For your name, you're greek, or perhaps you just like their mythology. Either way, it's not your real name, and I would like to know what it is."
I let out a small chuckle, which only seemed to annoy her, which I was happy to do. "My 'real' name? Alright. It's spelt P-E-R-S-E-U-S. Pronounced Per-sea-us. Though I prefer Percy." I said, grinning slyly, "And the only weapons here are the ones all over you."
"Alright Percy, let's say I believe you. Which god are you?"
"The one of swordsmanship, those bound for hell, and, distantly, liquids." I left out the whole 'Patron god of Camp Half-Blood' thing, the fact I like to think I'm the god of sass, and technically it's those bound for Tartarus, but whatever, technicalities.
"Those bound for hell?" Tony spoke before Redhead could reply, "What'd get you that title?"
"By getting out of hell." I replied, face completely serious, even as my heart twitched a little and I tried to suppress a shiver.
Tony still being glared at by Redhead piped up again, "But, gods don't die?" It was more a question than a statement, and I could see these people were starting to become curious of my life story. Before I could respond however, Tony snapped at Redhead, "Natasha, I get it, won't interrupt again."
I smirked, "Well thanks Tony. Now I don't have to call her Redhead." That smart remark from me only made her glare at him harder.
Natasha shook off her annoyance, soon however, and spoke again, "Swordsmanship, huh?"
I nodded, and she smirked.
"Let's prove it then, shall we?"
