I was still blushing when I got in. The boys just dropped me home. It was almost noon and I had to get ready for going out with my mom. Hurrying towards my room, I opened my closet to find something presentable to wear. Finally picking a white summer dress, I went straight into the shower to clean myself. After a long relaxing shower I wore my dress.

Applying just light make up. Which only included mascara and a lip gloss. I was done. I looked at the clock and I still had 30 mins left so I even went ahead and curled the ends of my hair.

I was done just in time. To be completely honest, I was proud. I looked pretty.

By the time I went downstairs, mom was already in the kitchen. She wore a flowery summer dress. She looked stunning. Sometimes I feel like I disappoint her.

I hugged her

I hugged her.

"Hey baby girl, ready for our lunch date?" Mom asked chuckling.

"Yup." I replied popping the 'P'.

"So how are your friends?" Mom asked buckling herself.

"They're awesome." I replied in full honesty.

"That's nice. So where do you wanna go?"

"Uhm, I'm starving so let's get something to eat first?" I suggested.

"Sure." Mom said taking a left turn as we arrived at the restaurant we usually ate at.

It wasn't crowded as usual which was a good thing. We took the seats beside the window as the waiter handed us the menu.

"So what shall I get you miss?" The waiter asked.

"I'll have the steak with baked potato."

He wrote my order and asked my mom who ordered Alfredo Fettuccine.

As we waited for our orders, we talked about stuff. Mostly about the boys and how mom thinks they're adorable. Yeah right?

Soon the waiter bought our orders and my mouth watered at the sight.
