When I picked up Jacy this morning, she was in a really bad mood, she said that her mother couldn't afford to buy her a car and that made me feel bad. As we got to first period she kept gripping about it.
"She'll change her mind," I told her, "that's how my mother is."
"My mother is different then your mother," Jacy huffed.

We walked to class, Jacy sat at the desk behind me. She didn't say anything else for the entire class period.
And, I felt bad for her, her mother works a lot and her father left her when she was six.
I looked over a shoulder and said to her, "do you wanna barrow my old car?"
Jacy looked up at me, "is it for sale?"
I shook my head, "No, its just a piece of junk but, it still runs."
"I'll think about it," Jacy looks back down at her book.
I want to tell her but, if I do, she'll never believe me.

I looked forward as the history teacher walked into the classroom with a stack of books in his arms, I rolled my eyes and sighed because I don't like working-in-history book days, it's boring, and besides I would rather study chemistry (which is my hardest subject) then do this.
The teacher took a seat in his desk in front of the room.
"Alright students," he began to speak, "today you will began studying the basics of World War 2, you will have a test on this subject on Friday." He paused.
You've got to be joking, we've already did this subject last month and now we're studying it again?
Yes, I already know what happened during that time period and it's stressful to me, the teacher spoke again. "Please come up and get you're books, today is a study day."

The students began to get up from their seats and walked over to the teachers desk, Jacy tapped on my shoulder, "I'm not reading no thick book," she whispered, "why is he making us do this again?"
I turned around and shrugged, "I don't know," I said, "do you want to go over to the library?"
Jacy smiled and nodded her head, "I know what your doing Tranessa, your trying to skip class so you don't have to do this."
And that was true, "so, we already learned this and took a fifty question test over the subject, I'm not doing that again."
We got up from our desks, told the teacher that we were leaving and walked over to the library that was just across the hall.
"What were you going to say to me?" Jacy asked as she got a book off the shelves and glanced at the cover.
I was looking at a book myself, "about what?"
"Remember yesterday, you were about to tell me something and I ran out on you before you could say it."
"Oh that," my throat tightened, "well..." I don't know how to say this to her about what I saw the other night.
"What is it?" Jacy asked.
I gulped down a huge lump in my throat and muttered out the words, "I saw something in my room the other night."
Jacys eyes went wide, "what?"
"I don't know what it was but, it looked like a ghost," I could feel my hands shake inside the pockets of my pants, the thought entered my head.
The way it looked at me with sad, lifeless eyes.
"Was it a boy or a girl?" Jacy asked as I pushed that thought out of my head.

"Huh?" I rubbed my forehead.
"Was it a boy or a girl?" Jacy asked again.
"Boy I guess," I said letting my hand fall down to my side, "I couldn't get a good look at him, he disappeared before I could ask him his name."
Jacy looked down at the book she was holding and read the title out loud, The Lovers Ghost the title on the book read.
"You should read this, maybe it could help solve your little problem," Jacy shoved the book into my hands.
"I don't know about this," I replied as I scanned the book, "do you think the ghost is in love with me?"
"And why would you ask that?" Jacy asked as a smirk formed on her face, "of course not."
