I sat in my room thinking about what had happened, the thought of Lems mother, if I ever meet her I would go ahead and slap her across the face for making her son cookies for there little celebration of broken Joe Jrs nose that I had to care for.

I didn't realize that mother's could be so stupid in this world, I just can't believe it. I heard a knock on my door and I wasn't in no mood for company, "Tranessa?" My head lifted up from my pillow to the sound of the new voice.
"Come in," I said as I crossed my legs on the bed as Kathleen walked into the bedroom, I almost fell off the bed when I saw her.
"Hey," I smiled, "haven't seen you in a while, did you guys find a new home?"
Kathleen helped me up to my feet as I hugged her tightly, it feels great to finally see someone again, even if you had a rough time but, still.
"No," Kathleen lowered her head as I pulled away from her, "we haven't found anything yet."

"Don't worry Kathleen," I said trying to cheer her up, "just think positive and something will come up."
She looked up at me and smiled, "yeah," she replied, "so how are you doing? I've heard what had happened to the hospital and we wanted to see if you were alright."
I cocked my head to the side in confusion."We? Who's we?"
Kathleen chuckled, "most of my family are here."
"Oh," I said as Kathleen leads me out of the bedroom and into the living room were I found most of the family either sitting on the sofa or enjoying themselves in the kitchen.
Kathleen introduced me to one of her sisters, "well, at least that women didn't kill you," the girl named Patricia said as she stood up from the sofa, "glad your okay."
I looked at her and smiled as Kathleen took a seat on the sofa next to her.

What was this? Is this a family reunion or something? I pushed the unanswered questions out of my head as Jack walked up to me and looped his arm around my neck and shoulders, I didn't know why I was feeling uncomfortable with his presence, I had never felt this feeling before when he's around me.

"Well, your lonely tonight Tranessa," he kissed me on the cheek, I felt like pushing him away, but I didn't, "do you want some company?"
"What is this?" I asked him, "why is your family here?"
"Oh, it's just little get together," Jack said as he took a sip of his wine and he offered the glass to me, "want some?"

I shook my head, "I don't drink."
Jack took another sip and sat the glass down on the coffee table, "I see, your not old enough to drink," he said, "yet."

Okay, why in the heck are we talking about this? Doesn't Jack realize that I don't want to be around him, I mean really.
"Excuse me," I replied softly as I pulled his arm off my shoulder and walked away from him, I was standing next to the door as I watched Jack and Lem take shots of something, I didn't know what though, and then I walked out.

It was a little chilly outside as I walked alone on the sidewalk, I didn't know that it could be so quiet at night, it felt really...peaceful.
I stopped next to an alley because, I thought I heard something, I turned my head to my right slowly but, I didn't see anything and so, I just shrugged and carried on.

After I took a few steps someone grabbed me and placed a hand over my mouth, I started to kick and thrash around as my screams muffled. I could not see who had grabbed me because it was dark, "now you listen to me girl," it was a man's voice as it hissed into my ears, I stopped struggling and listened, "you will lead me to the nearest bank in this city and you will get the money for me, got it princess?"
I nodded my head in response as he slowly pulls away his hand from my mouth.

"HELP!" I screamed as loud as I could as I started to take off in a full sprint down the sidewalk, "HELP ME! SOMEBODY HELP ME!"
The man ran after me as he pulls out a gun from his pants, I kept running as fast as I could, trying not to get shot.

Oh please, Oh please don't shoot me.

I ran into an alley and hid behind a few trashcans, the man walked into the alley as if he was a predator looking for his prey, I kept quite and my head low.
"Come out little princess," he purred as he pulled back the trigger, "I won't hurt you." I still kept quite as he walked pass my hiding spot.
Suddenly, the man turned around sharply as I heard the sound of growling, I peeked over a trashcan to see the masked man take a few steps back, "what do you want?" The man dropped the gun and held his hands up in surrender, "I didn't hurt nobody! Listen to me Joseph, I-I didn't hurt the girl."

The huge white wolf was at eye level with the man, he growled as the man fell back and landed on to the ground, "I didn't hurt her," he pleads, "I-"
His voice was cut off as the wolf bit the man on the shoulder, he screamed in pain as he begs him to stop, "please," the man's breath became hollow as the wolf lowers his huge head, eying the man's neck, "please."
Those were his last words as the wolf dug his sharp canines into the man's throat, he was dead.

I rose up from my hiding spot, my jaw dropped from the site of the now-dead corpse laying there on the cold ground. Joe Jr looked up at me and walked over, "thank you," I breathed as Joe Jr rubbed his massive head against my chest, "thank you."
