I sat on my bed with the book in my hand, I stared at it for a long while before I finally opened it.
It was about to be midnight and sense we don't have school tomorrow because of Teacher Work Day I can finally figure out this scenario.
I closed the book and placed it on my desk beside my bed, I glanced out the window.
I'll find him this time, I thought as I climbed out of bed while still in my nightgown.
I walked over to the window which was still open from last night and looked out to the woods just a few feet away from my house, I could walk there and come back without my parents noticing that I was gone.

I climbed out of the window as the warm breeze kissed my face, I walked until I reached the woods, I stopped at the mouth of the woods, it was dark and I wasn't risking to go back to get a flashlight because he could be gone by the time I get back.

I started walking the narrow stripe of trail, I didn't see no glowing figure as I looked around.
Suddenly, I stopped in my tracks as I saw a clearing, I walked some more.
"Hello?" I called as I stopped in the middle of the clearing, "are you here?"
No answer, I must be going crazy. "Hello," I called again.

I was about to leave until a strong hand clapped itself on to my shoulder, "beautiful girl," a hissing ghostly voice whispered into my ear, "or beautiful human as I should say." His voice was haunted and soft, I felt stupid for coming here and now he's going to kill me.
Fear ran up my body as my breathing became hollow, "turn around girl," his hot breath touched my neck, I refused.
"No," I breathed, "w-who are you?"
The ghost walked right in front of me, I had my eyes closed, "look at me," he said as he lifted up my head, "look at me."
I still refused and if I did open them he will kill me right then and there.
Just then, the ghost grabbed my right hand and placed it on to his cheek, he felt cold as ice but, I felt blood running through him.
"Do you feel that girl?" He asked, "I was alive then and I'm alive now."

"You're going t-to kill me," I felt my heart beat faster and faster inside my chest, I felt like I was going to pass out.
"No," he said, "I won't hurt you."
I opened my eyes slowly and looked up to see his handsome face staring at me, I glanced at the clothes he was wearing, a navy uniform that a pilot wore during World War 2 but, his haunted face?
"Who are you?" I asked again as I looked back up at him.
The ghost smiled showing me his pearly white teeth, "who are you?" He repeated.
"My names Tranessa," I snatched my hand away and backed a few steps away from him, "now tell me yours pretty boy."
"A stubborn girl," the ghost scanned me from head to toe, "you look a little young to be wearing that short of a nightgown."
I looked down at my pink nightgown that nearly passed my thighs, well, I didn't have time to change.

The ghost laughed as I shot him a glare, "what are you laughing at?"
He stopped suddenly as his face became more serious.
"I'm laughing at nothing," he said as he grabbed my hand again, "my name is Joe Kennedy Jr by the way."
Joe Jr? I have learned about him in history class and Jacy wouldn't stop yapping about why his plane exploded. She asked the teacher so many times how it happened but, Mr. Rays didn't have no clue what she was asking I mean, hello, you just taught us this.

Joe Jr pulls his hand away from mine and asked, "are you okay?"
I nodded, "yeah, I'm fine."
"Oh," Joe Jr said as he rubbed a hand against my cheek.
"What are you doing?" I backed away from him again, "wh-"
"Calm down," he replied, his voice was cracked, "your scared of me, are you?"
"No," I smirked, "why would you think that?"
"Because I can see it in you're eyes girl," Joe Jr hissed into my face, "tell me why?"
I had nothing to say, I just kept my mouth shut. This was crazy, I was thinking on leaving and going back home but, I'm afraid that he will follow me and scare my parents to death. I'm going to have to think this through.
