Chapter 7

I was drowsy during first period because I was still so tired from yesterday, Jacy had to shake me awake, the bell had already rung and it was time for me to go to second period which, I have Jacy in that class too.

We walked together down the hall towards the class I'm now failing in. Chemistry, and to make things even more worse, the girl that took away my now ex-boyfriend was also in that class with me.

We walked into the classroom and took a seat in our desks, the girl looked at me and smiled but, I didn't smile back at her.
"Why so angry?" The girl asked in a taunting voice, "your not yourself today Nessy."
I hate when she calls me that, I shot her a glare but, didn't say anything.

"Leave her alone Kenzi," Jacy spoke angrily at her.
Kenzi just rolled her eyes and said, "or what? Your going to tell on me."
Jacy hesitated, "well-" she paused as she swallowed hard.
Kenzi gave out a high-pitched laugh that started to make my ears ring.

I don't like her, not because of her laugh that you could hear from a mile away, but because of what she took from me.
I loved Dylan and I still love him til this day but, I haven't seen him sense our dinner last weekend.
He hasn't been at school in days.

And that worries me.

What was Kenzi doing to him? That was something I have to know.
"Why did you do it?" I asked her in a husky voice.
Kenzi bit her lip as she spoke, "do what?"
"Why did you take Dylan away from me?"
Kenzi smirked, "what are you talking about Nessy?"
She's lying to me, I've seen her in that restaurant flirting with Dylan.
"I know exactly what I'm talking," I hissed as I shot up from my chair, "I saw you, I saw in that restaurant and He was looking at you, not me, you!"
I was so heated that I had to walk out of the classroom.
I've found a restroom and I walked inside, I sat down between the sinks and started crying.

I want to be alone right now, it feels like it was happening all over again and I feel horrible.
I hugged my knees as tears ran down my hot cheeks, I'm not sure what to do now.
It's over, I give up hope.

"Hey," I looked up to see Kenzi standing in front of me, her face looked sad.
"What do you want?" I hissed under my breath, "haven't you done enough humiliating already?"
"Listen Tranessa," she finally said my name right, wow, "I'm so sorry about what had happened that night and, I didn't know that you and Dylan were dating," she sighed, "please forgive me Tranessa, I'm begging you."

I didn't know what to say, after all that she's done she was now begging me to forgive her?
I clicked my tongue as I thought for a moment.
And then I stood up to my feet and stared deeply into Kenzis' eyes.

"Well, if you say so," I told her.
"Really!"
"Yeah, I forgive you."
Kenzi squeaked and she hugged me tightly, "lets be friends," she whispered, "friends forever."
I gave out an impatient sigh, "yeah sure."
That was all I said to her before we walked out of the restroom.

We walked down the hallway as Kenzi kept babbling about her locker being broken, I've been through that a couple of times with mine which keeps jamming every time I use it.
"Why won't anybody fix it?" I asked as we entered the classroom.
"I don't know," Kenzi took a seat in her desk, "my parents even showed up here and-" she paused as she placed a hand on her forehead, "it was bad."
I looking over a shoulder at Jacy who was looked at me funny as if she wants to know what the freak was going on.

"Uh, Tranessa?" Jacy whispered to me quietly, "why are you talking to her?"
That was a question I couldn't think of an answer for so, I just shrugged, "she was in the restroom with me and we talked it out."
"Talk what-oh," she gasped, "okay."
I chuckled, Kenzi looked over at Jacy and gave her a smile, she smiles back and went on with her studies.
