I felt uncomfortable when Jack looped his arm around my neck, his hot breath touched my skin as he kissed my cheek and after he was done, I smacked him in the face. He was holding his cheek as I yelled in anger, "don't you ever do that again!"
I shot up to my feet and stormed up the stairs, the reason why I did that was because it made me think of Dylan and the way he used to kiss me on the lips every morning before the first bell rang.
And he was a really good kisser and that was what I liked about him.

I stormed down the narrow hallway until I reached a bedroom door, I opened it and walked inside.
There was nobody in the bedroom and I needed to be alone right now, I walked over to the neatly, made bed which sat on the right side of the room and laid down in it.

I was starting to miss my family and my friends and I also missed Kenzi, even though we just now started getting along with each other, I think she's a pretty swell girl and I was starting to believe she took Dylan away by mistake because she didn't know that me and him were dating. If I go back home, I will hang out with her and Jacy every day.

I stared up at the ceiling and took a deep breath, I turned over to my side with the blanket over my chest, I relaxed and fell to a deep sleep.

I awoke to someone gently shaking me awake, "Tranessa?" The sound of a girl's voice wasn't familiar to me at all, it sounded sweet and calm, "Tranessa? Are you awake?"
I stretched my arms and slowly sat up in the bed, I rubbed my eyes as the girl took a seat on the bed.

She wasn't really beautiful, but she was pretty with perfect skin and dark-blue eyes and her brownish hair was straight and curled at the bottom.
"Oh hi," I said as I gave her a sleepy smile.
"Hi," the girl smiled back to me, "did you have a good nap?"
I smirked at her as I looked at the clock that hung by the door, it read 6:45.
"Yeah, I guess so," I replied as I let out a yawn, "what's your name?"

"Kathleen," the girl said, "and I already know your name because Jack told me."
Of course it had to be Jack. I couldn't help but eye her sleeveless blue dress, "I like your dress," I gave her a kind gesture, "I think it looks amazing on you."
"Oh thank you," Kathleen said sweetly.
We both talked for a while, I told her about Dylan and Kenzi. Kathleen said she had been through the same thing as I have.
I was about to tell her about what my future plans are when I get back home, until the sound of the bedroom door groaned open.
Joe Jr walked into the room wearing a warm smile on his face, "good morning sleepy head."
I frowned, oh gosh. He walked over to the bed and yanked the blanket off of me in a playful way, "I'm afraid you were sleeping in my bed," Joe Jr crossed his arms over his broad chest.
"Oh t-this is your room?" I stammered out.
Joe Jr nodded his head as I looked away with embarrassment, "I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"Its okay," Joe Jr held out a hand, "it's okay."
I looked at his hand and thinking about not taking it but...?
I kept staring at his hand and thought if I took it he might crush it, well.

That was just a silly thought.

"Are you going to take it?" Joe Jr asked looking down at his still, stretched out hand and smirked, "is there anything wrong?"
I shook my head and replied, "no." And took is hand anyway.

Joe Jr helped me up to my feet and he placed the same hand on my back, I didn't mean to flinch.
He then leads me to the dining room as Kathleen followed.

I took my place at the seat I sat in an hour ago.
"Why did you bring me in here?" I asked as I got a little bit suspicious.
Kathleen was the one that spoke before Joe Jr could answer, "its dinner time," she said, "and I bet you are starving to death."

Don't get me wrong, I haven't ate sense I first got here and they didn't even offer to give me food until now.
Gosh I was so hungry, I felt like I was about to puck all over the white table cloth.

Was it just us having dinner? Because by the looks of the table there was just us three sitting.
Until Jack walked into the dining room all happy and stuff like that, I rolled my eyes at him when he took his seat in the chair right beside me.
"Hi fellas," he said cheerfully as he looked at me, "well guess who finally woke up after she slapped me across the face."
His voice turned from being cheerful to completely annoying, and he is annoying just to be honest.

"And why are you sitting next to me then?" I crossed my arms over my chest as I shot him an angry glare.
Jacks' mouth dropped as if he was offended, "I was about to say sorry but, I guess not."
"Why are you ticked off at me all of a sudden?"
Jack bit his bottom lip as his face softened, "well, I'm gonna say it anyway but, I'm sorry I-"
I interjected him, "I thought you said you won't say sorry to me?"

I heard whispers between Joe Jr and Kathleen, "lets just stop talking," Jack replied.
I nodded my head in agreement as I leaned over and whispered to him, "who was your friend that was sitting with us?"
"You mean Lem?" Jack asked, "he's still here, in fact he will be joining us for dinner tonight."
"Oh, okay." I straightened myself as more people showed up and took they're seats at the table, I counted all the children and was just shocked because there was nine of them.
Nine children? My mom couldn't do it and thank god she only had two kids.

An older women was seated in the chair right next the man I've met a while ago in the living room, he was seated at the head of the table.
I was staring at the table cloth and played with my hair that I just now put up in a ponytail when the old man spoke and all the kids quieted down.

"Well children," he started as he looked at me, "we have a new member in the family and I want you all to meet her."
All the kids took they're eyes away from they're plates and looked up at me.
I waved shyly to them as the old man continued, "her name is Tranessa and she will be staying with us for a little while."

When the old man finished he started asking these questions like where did you come from? Or do you have any siblings?
But, most of them were just yes and no questions.

Jack was now sitting next to his friend just two chairs away from me, I couldn't help but notice that his friend looked over Jack's shoulder at me every time when Jack looked away for a few seconds.
I would look away when he did that.
Just then, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder which made me jump and spun around in my seat to see a girl looking up at me, I sighed with relief.
"Hello little girl," I gave her a warm smile but, she ran off into her mother's arms.

"I'm so sorry about that," the older women picked up the girl and placed her on to her lap, "Jean is a little shy around newcomers."

She reminds me of Brielle when she was little. I remember when she saw someone she didn't know she would always run over to me and hugs my knees, of course, she was only five then.
I miss her more then anything else, she's probably worried about me being gone for so many days, I know her well enough to know how Brielle feels about me being gone this long.

I bet she feels terrified, scared and alone.
