I scanned Jacks' body from head to toe and sank down in a chair next to the bed, I felt so tired that I couldn't keep my eyes fully opened.
"You look tired, Tranessa?" Jack said, "why won't you get some sleep and I'll tell you everything tomorrow."

I nodded my head and leaned back against the chair and closed my eyes.

The sun was beginning to set as I layed down under a tree in the woods, I was alone and I wanted to be alone.
It was hopeless, I'm not going to college because both of my parents agreed to let me do an online college and it was only my junior year of high school.
The sound of running footsteps filled my ears as Brielle sat down next to me, "why are you out here all by yourself?" She asked as she glanced down at me.
I sighed, "I'm not going to college sis."
"Well? Why not?"
"It was all mother's idea," I told her, "she wants me to do an online college, I mean, how will that get me to Michigan State?"
Brielle shrugged her shoulders, "all I know is that you need to get excepted to Michigan State," she said, "and I don't know what to tell you about an online school, if you don't wanna do it then, don't do it."
She was right about that, maybe I could not listen to my parents and go college but, at the end I still love them.
"I don't know," I said as I stood up, "you know we both love our parents and we should listen to them, and besides, I don't get excepted to any colleges until next year."
Brielle nodded her head in agreement as I helped her up to her feet, "when you go I'll be sad because I'll have no one to play or talk to."
I chuckled and stroked her hair, "you know you can call me anytime."

I woke up to the sound of something shattering to the floor, I sat up to see Jack on his feet and picking something up.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes, "why are you up?"
Jack turned around sharply, he held what it seems to be a broken clock, "did I wake you?" He asked as he looks down at the clock and sighed, "sorry about that, I must've pushed the clock off of the desk."

"Jack, It's a medal clock so, how did it break?"
Jack ran a hand through his hair and sat down the broken clock on the table, "I-" he paused, "snapped it in half."
My mouth dropped open in surprise, did he really just say that?

How?

"You broke the clock with your bare hands?"
Jack slowly nodded his head, "yeah, I've got a little frustrated with it because it didn't stop freaking ringing last night."

I thank I know how to solve this problem, he was upset about what had happened last night to his home but, the only question is left was.
How did the fire started?
Jack walked around his bed and he kneels down next to me with a hand on top of mine.
"I'll be okay," he looked up at me as if he'd just read my mind,
"about what?" I asked, getting confused.
"About my home, did you forget what happened?"
Of course I didn't forget.
"No," I told him.

I felt bad that he didn't have a home anymore and I hated myself for it.
Jack stood up as a nurse walked into the room, he looks down at me and then back to the nurse as I watched him lick his lips in hunger.

Something is about to go down and I didn't like it one bit.

I heard Jack gave out a warning growl to the nurse to tell her to stay away from him, or me.
"Jack, I'm just here to check on you," the nurse breathed as her face went pale as death.
But Jack walked over to her and took out his claws, he hissed at the nurse and before she could scream, he planted his claws deep into her throat.

I watched in horror as she fell to her knees and holding her neck, Jack slashed her a second time, she choked on her own blood and collapsed to the floor.
She was unmoving when I walked up to her.
My hand covered my mouth as my other hand closed her still-opened eyes.

Why did he do that? She was innocent, she was freaking innocent and he killed her.

I looked at Jack and silently stormed out of the room, I don't need him now after what he just did, I don't need anybody.

As I was storming down the hallway, I spotted a teenage boy sitting all alone in the waiting room.

He was just about my age, but he was a little bit taller then Dylan.
His hair was a grayish color and was stringy, his eyes were icy-blue and his handsome face was thin and freckled.
He looked up at me as I stood unmoving in front of him.

"Hi," he greeted me in a calm but a little nervous voice, "I haven't seen you around here before, are you new?"
I nodded my head, "yeah, I'm not from around here."
"Well, that makes the two of us," he said, "have a seat."

And so I did but, what does he mean by the two of us?

"My name's Tranessa, by the way," I said to him quietly.
"Names Micah," he held out a hand, "Micah Kirkland."

I shook his hand and pulled away saying, "nice to meet you."
