"Tranessa!" Someone shook me awake, my eyes shot open as I quickly sat up in my little cot, "Tranessa! We need to leave, now!" I rubbed my eyes, Joe Jr picked me up and held me in his arms.

What's going on? I wanted to know what's going on?

He carried me out of the bedroom, the smell of smoke filled my nose as I heard the sound of flames crackling somewhere in this house, he carried me down the stairs and ran me outside.

He sits me down on the grassy floor as I saw flames shooting out of the window where the living room is, I shot up to my feet as Rosemary weeps on her mother's shoulder.
Jean was standing next to me, she looks up and wrapped her little arms around my waist.

How did this happen? Who had done this? I pushed the thoughts out of my head as the fire spreads from the living room to the first floor of the mansion, tears started to fall from my eyes as Jean hugged me tightly, I placed a hand on her head and began to play with her hair.

"Someone do something!" Kathleen screamed, "do something please!"
But, there wasn't anything that we could do, they didn't have no fire department in this city.
I watched as people ran with water hoses in hand and they began to spray out the fire, a teenage boy was ordering the people as he shouted and pointed.

It was nothing but chaos out here.

Rosemary walked over to me, her eyes were bloodshot as tears flowed down her cheeks, she interlaced her fingers into mine as all three of us watched the fire, it was mostly contained.

Jean pulled away from me and she ran over to her mother, "what happened?" Rosemary said as sadness filled her voice, "who would do this to us?"

I couldn't find an answer to that question, "I don't know," I told her, "I don't know."

I looked around but, I couldn't find Jack anywhere.

Where was he?

"Wh-where's Jack?" I stammered out.
"He's at the hospital," Rosemary replied as she wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her pajama shirt, "he's hurt, but I don't know how bad."

I was stunned when I heard what she just said, he was hurt?
"Where's the hospital?" I gasped,
Rosemarys' eyes went wide, "it's just a few blocks away from here, you can walk there but, someone has to-"
I was already sprinting down the lawn before she could even finish her sentence.

I ran past the gate as my lungs and sides started to hurt. As I got to the end of the driveway, I had called for a cab.

I got in the cab and told the driver where I was going, "there's only two hospitals here sweetie," the female driver said as I looked at her from the rear-view mirror, "do you know which hospital Jack Kennedy is in?" I asked her, the driver thought for a moment, "well, there is one called St. Marthas' Medical Clinic I'm sure you could find your friend there."

I nodded my head, "take me there."
The driver nodded as we turned on to a street, the hospital was just a few miles away now.
As we drove I thought about home, the image of Brielle in my mind made my heart broke, I wanted to cry so bad but, we were already at the entrance of the hospital.

I gave the driver a 20 and climbed out of the cab, I ran inside and walked up to the counter, the nurse was busy looking at her typewriter more then me.

"Excuse me?" The nurse took her eyes off of the typewriter and she smiled, "how can I help you sweetie?"
"Do you know which room Jack Kennedy is in?"
The nurse glanced down at her clipboard, "he's in room 211."

"Thanks," I left the counter and walked down the 200 hallway, I looked around until I found his room, the last door on the right.

I walked inside to see him bandaged around the chest area, I walked up to his bed and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Jack, I hope you can hear me," I whispered to him softly, "I came here just to visit and-"
Just then, his eyes opened up, I pulled my hand away as he looked at me.

"About time someone showed up to see me," he smiled.
