Summer had just ended. I was all ready starting to miss the palm trees, beach sand, crystal clear water washing over me and Noah's feet, us holding hands running down the ocean side while the water splashed up and down our legs, sharing frozen lemonade, his fingers running through my sandy hair, those soft pecs he would give me on my cheek, having those picnics by the beach sunset, all those perfect little things, but now there gone, not forever, just for a little bit. I would at some point return to Hawaii. I would now be attending West Wood High School (WWHS) in Mill Valley, CA.
It was a private school, but I didn't mind at all, I went to a private school in Hawaii, so it wasn't going to be that bad. I am going to miss Noah a lot though, we are trying to keep the spark. I know he would never break up with me... ever. If anything I would break up with him. He loves me so much. Of course I love him just the same, but I mean he wants to marry me, and I don't doubt that idea. His brown hair, jade green eyes, built body, cute nose, and perfect, blinding smile nobody could resist him. Other girls have an eye on him all the time, but he promised me that he loved me and only me. I kind of wish we could just get married now and live happily ever after, but we're only 18.
As I was unpacking he was the only thing I could think about. "Alex the uniform came in!" My mom yelled from downstairs. I carefully walked down the shiny wood stairs, trying to get used to my surroundings. I skipped into the big, blue kitchen. It all look so new and futuristic. "Awe, Alex. This is so cute. It's going to look great honey!" "Let me see." I opened the box wider so I could see. As I looked into the cardboard box I saw black combat boots, a navy blue school skirt, a dark grey, collard t-shirt with the school logo, a dark grey sweater with the school logo, black leggings, and a big navy blue bow with the school logo right in the middle.
I went upstairs to try it all on. I kind of liked the way it turned out. It looked kind of cute and the cheerleader sized bow was a nice touch. I smiled in the mirror and hung the uniform in my closet. I started to hang up other shirts and started to put pants into my new dresser. I unpacked my MacBook laptop and placed it on my new neon blue desk. I started to place cute things on the desk like, a vase of fake roses, little mint green bucket full of decorative pencils, and a green zebra print mouse pad.
After unpacking and decorating some simple things, I started to think about sleep. It was 10:45 pm. Tomorrow was the first day of school, so I thought I should get some sleep. I got into bed and read myself to sleep. When I finally dazed off, my last thoughts were about Noah and how much I missed him all ready.
"Alex it's 7:20! You don't wanna be late on the first day!" "Okay, okay. I'm getting in the shower!" Even though I didn't want to, I had to get ready. School starts at 8:45. Once I got out of the shower I started to blow dry then straighten my hair. 40 minutes later I had braided two front sections of my hair and pined them to the back of my head, then placing the bow on top of the bobby pins. I actually looked pretty decent. Taking one last look at my long, blonde hair and my appearance I left the bathroom and headed down stairs for breakfast.
I ate a bowl of cereal and headed out the door to my mom waiting for me in the car. She honked twice, then I hopped in. As we took down the driveway and out of the neighborhood, I looked out the window admiring our beautiful new environment. I actually liked it. I really liked it in fact. Once we pulled up to the school it was different then what I thought it would be. I expected kids riding up on horses and a bunch of fancy statues and six buildings, but actually it looked like any other private school. Just a bunch of kids in uniforms walking and getting out of cars. I was nervous but, I was ready.
"Bye mom, I love you." "I love you too Alex, have a great day honey!" She kissed me on the cheek and I headed towards the school. It was big and the colors were dark grey and navy blue, matching all the kids. All the guys had really nice hair. Trimmed, buzzed, slightly buzzed in the back and spiked in the front. All the girls either had their hair down, curly, straight, wavy, braided, up in a ponytail, or in a bun. Everybody looked so nice and neat. I liked it. I walked into the gigantic school looking at all the navy blue lockers and the dark grey tiles.
As I was looking down at the tiles all of a sudden I ran into someone. I stumbled to the ground and my books slid across the floor. "I am so sorry!" Said a deep but sweet voice. I looked up. Oh my gosh. The boy was tall. He had brown hair, milky brown eyes, and a blinding, white smile. "No! I'm sorry!" I said shyly. "Excuse me! Do you know who your talking to?" Said a really pretty, short brunette. "Ashley--" she cut him off. "This is Cameron Dallas! The Cameron Dallas!" I stood there frozen. I didn't know who Cameron Dallas was. "Ashley it's no big deal. I'm not a god or anything." He sure looked like one, or an angel. "I am so sorry..um Cameron Dallas!" I repeated, using his full name. "It's completely fine." I was still sitting there on the floor picking up my last book. Ashely trotted off in anger to an other group of girls. Cameron grabbed my last book and placed it my hands, while pulling me up.
"She's just a fan." He said chuckling. A fan? Who is this guy? A singer? A dancer? "Oh and you don't have to call me Cameron Dallas." He said smiling. "You can call me cam or just cameron." He was still holding my hand. He let go. "Oh, okay.. Cameron. So are you a singer or--" "I'm a viner and youtuber." "Oh, really? I love vine and youtube. I'll make sure to look you up!" I wondered why I had never heard or seen him before. "Cool. What's your name?" "Alex." "That's a really pretty name." "Thank you." "So are you a junior or a senior?" Cameron asked softly. His voice was like kittens fur, soft and smooth. "I'm a senior, how about you, cameron?" "I'm a senior too." A spark of excitement flickered inside of me.
