Rain drops fall on rose peddles
And rose peddles fall to the ground
But the rain
Oh the rain
The rain is like us
If we fall we will rise again
Rain drops fall
On the treetops
On garden leaves
But like rain if we fall we will rise again
Sometimes we need to fall to know we're alive
Sometimes we need to hurt
To appreciate the good times
Sometimes we need to cry
To really know we were happy before
Sometimes we need to be afraid
To know we were once safe
But no matter how hard we fall
We will rise again
Your words hurt like knives on my skin
By choosing him you turns your back on me
Left me to hurt alone
And when I came crawling
Begging you to lend a hand
You pushed me off the razor edge
It felt like every bone in my body broke
And then I went numb
I thought I would never feel again
But here I am
getting over everything
flying like never before
And now I wonder why I ever cried over this
Rain drops fall on rose peddles
rose peddles fall to the ground
But like rain drops we will rise again
Sometimes you have hurt
To know you were once ok
Just know like you once were
You will be ok again
And you will fly high like never before
you will be stronger than you ever imagined
Like rain, when we fall we will rise again
