Everything may not smell like Daisy's
Some days you may feel lazy
And you know money doesn't grow on trees
And the world isn't made of candy
And things aren't all that easy
But you can still shine as bright as the sun
You don't have to run
There is a melody to be sung
You just have to make yourself heard
You just have to prove
That
There's a new grove
To set a happy mood
Wouldn't it be great
If everyone wouldn't get in the way
Of your fate
But you gotta fight
Prove your right
Dance in the light
But don't stop in the dark
Because your hearts still beating
And life may seem defeating
But your still breathing
Now you just have to start something
Sometimes that will lead to you destiny
As you move on from yesterday
And know that tomorrow's sun
Brings a new horizon
And is unsung
You just have to write the words
To the song of your life
