I just need a distraction

problems disappear
Even if only just for a second

District each other from our own thoughts

Just to stop from thinking
Just to not be alone

tomorrow is worth the fight I face today

So we both survive to see another tomorrow

You mange to distract me from my mind
Make me go to a happy place for a while

We can be each other's miracle
We're just the same
Together we can tame our demons
Maybe even chase our dreams
Were perfect
We're all we need
A perfect distraction from all of our problems
I always try to be there to help everyone
So it's nice to have someone here for me
Because when I reach out for help
Everyone else turns away
But you protect me from my demons
And I do the same for you
We are perfect
A perfect distraction from our troubled minds
And a perfect reason to smile
As we make one another laugh
Laughing in the face of pain
Imagine that
I couldn't do it without you
So we'll take each other to a happy place
And help them fight for a tomorrow
As we desperately search for a reason to live
We distract each other
from the dangers that lark in our own heads
