After a while, we decide to head back to our house. I pull into Mikey's driveway and he pushes open his door and comes over to me.
"I am going to the beach tomorrow with my family- do you want to come too with your family?" He says to me.
"I'll have to ask my dad but I'm sure he will say yes."
I hug Mikey and say goodbye.
I go inside and see my dad with my brother.
"I'm glad you came back, John." I say as I walk towards him to hug him.
"Me too." He replies.
"Dad- Mikey was wondering if I could go to the beach tomorrow with him?" I say.
"Sure sweetheart." He replies.
"Really?" I say and he nods.
"Thank you . I love u dad."
"I love u too sweetie."
"I'm gonna go take a nap but I'll be awake for lunchtime. It has been an exhausting day."
"Okay."
I go upstairs and plop myself in my bed. And I go to sleep.
