Part 5: Is it a mistake?

//Mikey's POV\\

I know I have a girlfriend. But Kayla is so beautiful inside and out. She is so sweet and Angelina likes to yell at me for the stupidest things. But I don't know how to break up with her because she would probably ruin the rest of high school for me.  I don't care honestly anymore.
"do you want to come to my house? since Angelina is at practice and my mom is at work, Im gonna be all alone at my house which is super boring" I say.
She says really quick.
"Are you sure that's gonna be okay with Angelina though?" She says
"Yeah I mean we're all friends right?" I say. Hopefully not by tonight. I really just wanna let loose tonight and whatever happens, happens.
"Yeah your right." She says while obviously fake smiling.
Damn she's hot with her brown hair, brown eyes and that beautiful smile of hers.
We get on the bus and I sit next to her. I grab out my earbuds and start listen to my music.
"You wanna listen to this song?" I say to Kayla.
"Sure." She says as I pass her my other earbud.
"I'm going to go to sleep, I'm so pooped from today. Wake up when we get to your stop please." She says while smiling at me with that cute smile.
"Sure thing." I say while putting her head on my shoulder. And I rub her shoulders.
Time passes by and we finally get to our stop and she is still sleeping.
"Kayla, we are here." I say.
She perks up but still looks tired. She gets up and walks off the bus and I follow behind. And I walk to my house with her.
"I better text my dad and let him know that I'm going to your house." She says.
"okay, I'm gonna go ahead inside and I'll be upstairs first bedroom on the right." I say.

//Kayla's POV\\

I honestly am so confused. Mikey was being a bit flirty with me on the bus. I text my dad first to let him know I'm going to be at Mikey's house. Then I text Amanda.
Me: hey Amanda
Amanda: hey! how was ur first day?! I saw your texts this morning.. how's that cute boy 😋
Me: my day was good! You'll never guess it I've literally become friends with that guys girlfriend and the guy. And his gf was at practice and on the bus ride back he was being super flirty with me.

I turn off my phone to go inside and I go upstairs to see Mikey on the phone talking to someone.
"We are done. I can't deal with your drama and jealousy anymore. Kayla can come over to my house whenever I want her to, that's not your decision. Goodbye Angelina." He says.
I can't believe I caused them to break up. I feel like a terrible person.
He puts his phone on his bedside table and sits on his bed and finally realizes I am standing in the doorway.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I never wanted to cause any problems with you and Angelina." I say.
"You didn't do anything Kayla. It was gonna happen soon, she can be a real pain sometimes."
"I'm so sorry Mikey. Do you want me to go home?"
"No please don't go. I really just need someone right now." he whines.
"Okay I won't go."
"You wanna do something fun?" He says.
"Sure I guess." I say. I'm kinda nervous for whatever he wants to do. I don't really think he's in the best state of mind.
He gets up and grabs my hand.
"Just trust me." He says. He holds my hand and guiding me until we get outside and he starts walking.
"So where are we going?" I say.
"It's a surprise." He says.
"Okay." I say.
"Are you sure your okay?" I add.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just realizing a lot things." He says. I'm really concerned about him now..
"Realizing what?" I question him.
"I'm realizing there is a better girl out there for me than Angelina." He says. Holy crap..
"And who would that be?" I say.
He fully stops walking and stands in front of me. And looks me in the eyes. I can barely see because the sun is going down.
"You." He says.
I really don't even know how to respond. Like I really like him, but he just broke up with his girlfriend less than an hour ago. But he is so sweets and cute.
"I don't know what to say Mikey." I say quietly.
"Don't say anything. I know I shouldn't do this but I can't help it." He says and then he moves closer to me and kisses me.
