I know I've only been dating Mikey for such little time but I feel like it has been forever and he is the only real boyfriend who has been good to me. I wish he knew how much he means to me.
I keep on driving towards the near park. There is a small newer playground , a huge field, and a trail to walk on there.
We finally arrive after about 5minutes.
I push open my door and walk over to Mikey's side to help him get out since his leg still hurts him.
I help him walk over to a bench in the shade where we both decide to sit down.
"Sooo.." Mikey says as he acknowledges the awkward silence between us due to the previous events.
"We never talked about the whole car crash- coma thing." I say.
"Yeah- we didn't. What is there really to say? It was my fault it happened Kayla. And I would do anything to go back in time to change that day" he replies.
"Mikey- please don't ever say that it was your fault- it wasn't at all." I say.
I can't believe Mikey thinks that it was his fault- yes he was driving but I mean he didn't know that a car was gonna pull out of nowhere.
We sit in silence for a bit and he just puts his arm around my shoulder and I rest my head on his shoulder.
