"Danny," I said, "you have two choices. You change me now, or I go out there and fight as a human."

"It doesn't work that way," he said, "the person the wolf bites will first turn into a werewolf the next full moon. The next full moon is in a few days. Go downstairs, and hide with your family."

"I'm not leaving you," I said with tears coming to my eyes.

"It's okay baby," he said as he took my face into his hands. He gave me a kiss. "Go downstairs."

"Danny," I said worried.

He hugged me and gave me one last kiss.

"I love you," he said.

I cried, and I hugged Jax as well. I ran downstairs and wiped my tears away.

My parents hugged me. "Hi," I said.

"Where did you go?"

"I ran," I said, "it was wrong to. I thought I lost Danny as a friend, and I was wrong."

"Danny came by with red roses for you and found out you were not there."

"I know," I said, "I was wrong to run. Now he's upstairs fighting for me, and I can't do anything about it. I have a big question though."

They let me go and we sat down on the floor with each other. I sat next to Pipsqueak, and she wrapped her arms around me.

"What would you guys say I want to give you guys extra protection for all of us?"

"How?"

"Danny can bite me," I said, "I will be like him, and I'll be stronger and better...but I will be together with Danny, until we both die."

They looked at me. "Halo," My mom said, "you want to be a wolf?"

I nodded. "It brings more protection for you all, and I love Danny."

"What about your safety," my dad asked.

"I can't guarantee my own, but I can guarantee yours."

"Will we get to see you?"

"Of course," I said with a grin, "I wouldn't leave you guys."

"Your safety isn't guaranteed though," my mother said.

I shook my head, "but I am a big girl mom. I will always be with you guys. I will protect you all. I will be with all of you forever."

Pip squeezed me tighter.

"All right," my mother said, "if you can convince him to turn you, I'll accept it. Just...be safe baby."

I hugged her, my dad, and Pip.

Danny and Jax came down, torn up.

"Oh my god," I said running up to them.

I hugged Jax first and ran my hands over his cuts. "I'm fine," he said, "it's just cuts."

I looked at Danny. "Danny," I said worried.

"I'm fine," he said with a smile, "bats are weak little things."

"I need to talk to you," I said.

I dragged him to another room downstairs, and he looked at me curiously.

"I want you to change me," I said, "they are allowing it."

He pulled me back out to them. "Are you guys sure," he asked, "If I bite her, then she is bonded with me until we die, and I can't guarantee her safety."
