I ran up to them and I put my arms around them.
"They came in and attacked us," Pip said.
"Did they bite you," I asked.
"No," Pip said, "they only scratched us and hurt us with their hands. They took my necklace."
I pulled it out of my pocket and handed it to her. "It's okay," I said, "It's okay. I got you guys."
"Guys," Jax said, "the sun's rising."
I hugged him goodbye, then he ran outside and left.
Danny grabbed the first aid kit, and I rubbed cream on their wounds to keep them from getting infected.
I got them cleaned up, then I hugged them. "I'm here," I said, "but I need to talk to you guys. It's important."
We all sat on the floor. Danny and Pip sat next to me.
Danny put his arm around me.
"There is a prophecy," I started, "It's called 'The Fighter In Love'. The fighter leads a war between the vampires and werewolves. I am filling the place of the fighter, and...at the end of the prophecy, it says, one is badly wounded or killed. Nothing from that point is told. I don't know who gets hurt, but I am gonna say it's going to be me. I don't know if I will survive. It's what I have been upset about for days. I didn't want to be reminded, so I took my anger out on Danny."
"You are gonna die," Pip asked softly.
I looked at her sadly.
Tears ran down her face. "Halo," she said.
She threw her arms around me and I put my arms around her, until I was in too much pain. "Pip," I moaned, "You have to let go. My back hurts."
I grabbed her hands and I had to pull her off of me.
"She got whipped yesterday when she ran from the pack leader," Danny said as he put his arms around me.
Pip was in deep tears.
I put my forehead with hers. "It's okay Pip," I said, "Danny promised me that if I die, he will watched after all of you."
"I don't want Danny," she said, "I want my sister."
"Danny is nicer than me," I said, "and he wont hurt any of you."
"I don't want Danny," she said again.
"I know," I said, "but I promise everything will be okay. Danny with be with you guys 24/7. He will protect you all. I trust him with my life. You should too. Okay?"
"Okay," she said.
I looked at my parents, and they were trying to hold back tears.
I crawled up to them and hugged them tightly. "It's okay," I said.
"Can't you find your way out of it," my mother asked.
"I don't have a choice."
"Wait," Pip said, "do you have half of your fur black with white spots and the other half white with black spots?"
Pip hasn't seen me with my new fur yet. I got up and took a step back. I turned back into my wolf form.
"Halo," she said, "you can't go out there. You were in my dream. You died."
I actually believed her.
"I don't know you died," she said, "but I remember you lying on the ground in pain. I also remember saying the name Drake."
