I took Jax into the bathroom.
"Put a bow on his wrists," Danny said, "or even better. Around his neck."
"Bad dog, Danny," Pipsqueak said. "training time!"
I started running the water, and Jax didn't seem to mind. I lit the whole room with candles, just so it is easier for him.
I put water on him, and soaked him.
"Poor little Jax," I said as I scrubbed him down with baby shampoo.
I went over his stomach and back, and he squeaked of pain a few times. "It's okay," I said softly.
I got him out and dried him off with a towel. I held him in my arms.
"For a bat," I said, "you're cute."
I put him down on the counter. "I have a robe you can use," I said. "I'll make sure Danny washes your clothes. Hand them to me when you come out."
I walked out of the bathroom and closed the door. I stood out in the hallway.
"Hand me the clothes when you come out."
"Okay," he said.
He came out with the robe tightly around him.
"Ow," he said as he handed me the clothes.
Since Jax was my height, the robe fit him almost perfectly.
I walked him over to the couch and I sat him down.
"Danny," I yelled, "get in here."
He walked in nervously.
"Help me clean his clothes," I snapped.
He nodded.
"I can just turn into a bat and come with you guys," Jax said getting up slowly from the pain.
"That's up to you," I said.
He turned into the bat and I handed him to Pipsqueak. The robe sat on the couch.
"I need to wash his clothes," I said, "will you keep him company?"
She nodded as Jax held onto her arm, upside down.
Danny and I cleaned the clothes rather quick. they were just wet. I threw them into my bathroom and I dried them off with my blow dryer. It took maybe 15 minutes.
I took Jax from Pipsqueak, and I pit him back in the bathroom. He threw on his clothes, and walked back out in pain.
I took him into my bedroom for a minute and I closed the door.
"Let me see the marks," I said.
He took off his jacket and his shirt. Bat sized, it made since, but in human form, it looked like Godzilla nibbled on him.
He had dark purple spots on him from Danny's teeth.
"Oh my god," I said running my hand down his back. "Jax."
"I'm okay," he said, "I think he just pulled a muscle."
I walked around him to look at him in front. They were almost identical in front. I looked up at him as I pressed my hand against his chest. "I can't believe he didn't kill you."
"He didn't kill me because of you," he said, "Danny loves you, and if I mean that much to you, he wont kill me. When you cowered from him, and when he cried for you to make sure you felt comfortable, he wanted to keep himself from losing his chances. He loves you with the world."
"A fighter in love," I said with a smile.
"Like me," he said with a grin.
I smiled and gave him a kiss.
