I got up in the middle of the night with Danny. We woke up from a howl of defence. Danny and I were both wolves, and I found myself in a mirror. I was fully the fighter at this point. I looked exactly as explained. One gold eye on the black side and one green eye on the white side. My tail was black on the white side and white on the black side.

I ignored it, and I felt powerful.

Danny and I ran out, and we saw Jax's family.

They saw me and froze.

"The prophecy is foretold," the bother yelled, "the fighter returned!"

I got stares all around. From everyone. Wolves and vampires.

I growled and I ran up to the brother. I tackled him onto his stomach. I growled and he breathed heavily. He was scared.

"Run," he shouted.

I growled and grabbed him with my teeth. I dragged him back, and he struggled.

Danny grabbed some rope, and we tied him down. I sat at the door and wolf smirked at him. I went back to human. "Hello again," I said.

He looked at me surprised, then Jax knocked on the door and he smiled at me.

"What happened between you and Danny," he asked.

"We're fine," I said, "but I think I scare your family now."

Jax looked at me confused. I turned back into a wolf, and I growled at his brother. He was flinching and was nervous.

Even Jax backed up.

"Holy shit," he said.

I looked at Jax and my tail wagged. My growling stopped.

I walked up to him and put my head into his chest happily. He hugged me.

"At least I wont be attacked," he said with a smile.

Danny walked up to me as a wolf and I nudged my nose under his chin and nudged him. My ears were back and my eyes were closed.

Danny's eyes closed and he let me go.

He rubbed his nose with mine, then there was a knock at the door.

Jax opened it, and it was the leader. Both, my tail and Danny's tail went down and we put our heads down as we whined of fear. Our tails tucked between our legs. Danny and I were backing down from the whipping. I was bad, and Danny interfered.

The leader stood in front of us and growled for us to put our heads up.

We went down to human form, and we looked up nervously.

The leader went back to being human.

Jax got on one knee to show no harm. When a leader is mad at a pack members, any vampire who poses no threat needs to be down on one knee so it isn't a set up.

My hair hung in my face nervously. Danny put his arms around me and held me nervously.

"You two are a disgrace," he snapped.

"Sir," Jax said, "they caught an intruding vampire, but you realize she is the holder of the prophecy."

"I know," the leader snapped at him, "but they are still pack members. They will be treated like them."

"I stopped the whipping because she didn't need it," Danny snapped.

"She attacked both you and me," he snapped back.

"Attacking the fighter," I snapped, "I don't think you should be the leader. Maybe I should be."

"That's true," Danny snapped, "leaders lead fights. She is leading the war between wolves and vamps. Why shouldn't she be leader."

"The blood of the leader is passed down."

"You're the disgrace," I snapped, "I can take your title."

"That's a fight until one backs down."

"Then I have some training to do."

He growled as a human and so did I.

Danny growled too and gripped onto me tighter.

The leader walked over to Jax's brother.

Jax stayed on one knee, and I sat next to him.

"Why must you attack," the leader asked Jax's brother.

"I came back for the fighter. I didn't know she was the fighter. My brother is her friend."

"Sir," Jax said, "I mean no harm even though I am a vampire. I am way smarter than my family."

Jax's brother hissed when the leader got close and even bared his fangs.

I turned back into a wolf and stood behind Jax's brother.

He closed his mouth and he sat there nervously.

The leader kept asking him questions.

"Your name."

"Drake," he said nervously.

"Drake and Jax," Danny said with a smile. He was referring to the T.V. show "Drake and Josh".

The leader looked at me. "Take him and give him back to his family. I don't think they want to be around us with you here."

I nodded. I picked up Drake and threw him onto Danny's back since mine was in pain from the leader.

Jax jumped onto my back as a bat and he hung onto me. I started running with Danny to the alley where we were attcked.

Danny put Drake down and I made myself hidden. In the alley.

The vampires came out of nowhere from above. Danny and Jax jumped.

"Just the two," the mother said, "where's the other? This wolf's love?"

Jax untied Drake and he got up. He ran up to his parents.

"Run," Drake said, "she's hidden."

"Why are you scared," Drake's sister said.

I growled and I came out of the darkness. The vampire's jaws dropped.

They took a step back. I walked up next to Danny and I put my head into his chin again. My ears were back and my eyes were closed. So was Danny's. I let him go, and I put my head onto Jax's chest.

He patted the top of my head. I let him go, then I growled at his family.

I took steps forward. "It's her," Drake said, "It's Halo."

I jumped toward them and all four of them flinched.

I smelled a familiar scent on them, and I backed up a little bit. Danny and I looked at one another and we went back to our human forms.

"You smell like my family," I snapped.

They smiled nervously.

"What did you do to them," I snapped.

Her mother went into her pocket and pulled out a necklace. It belongs to my sister.

My eyes grew with rage.

Danny ran up to me and held me back from attacking.

"You are the fighter," he whispered into my ear, "but against all of them, you can't win."

They threw me the necklace and I caught it. They took off nervously.

I gripped the necklace in my hands as hard as I could. I put it into my pocket, and I went back to my wolf form.

Danny went to his wolf form and Jax jumped on his back.

I ran to my house, and I busted in through the door. I turned back to human and I looked around. The place was trashed.

I ran downstairs, and I didn't see them.

They weren't here. "Pip," I called, "Mom? Dad? Anybody?"

I heard a call from upstairs. I ran back upstairs, and I pulled on the door to my parent's bedroom. It was locked. I turned back into a wolf for a second and smashed myself inside. I turned back to human, and I found my entire family cowering in the closet.

Blood dripped from their arms and faces.
