“Why is life so hard?” Bailey sighed in the backseat as we drove back to my house.

“What are you talking about?” Liz asked.

“I mean, Lexi and her Jacob drama, we all have to see Landon in 3 days, Destiny the snobby bitch-."

“Oh, speaking of her, I have a new name for her. Destiny, the bitch witch from hell!” I smiled waving my hands above my head.

“OK, the bitch witch from hell, and me and the British babe are still single!” Bailey whined.

I turned back to look at them. Tessa was smiling and Bailey was wiping away fake tears.

“Well Tessa, I have someone I think you would be perfect for. And Bailey, you never know… Landon might be single.”I smiled.

“Even if he is, he wouldn’t go for me. He probably doesn’t remember me.” Bailey was so cute when she pouted.

“We’ll see.” Liz sang.

The next three days went by way faster than I wanted. Liz, Tessa, and Bailey just stayed at my house the whole time until we had to leave. We woke up at two Tuesday morning and started to get ready.

“Why does the freakin flight have to be at 6 in the freakin morning?!” Bailey whined as she rolled out of my bed.

“They want to make sure everyone is there before hand.” I said.

I walked through the bathroom and into Jake’s room; he was laying on his back with his phone to his ear talking to someone. Tessa came up behind me and smiled. He really should close the bathroom door but he never does. The two of us really don’t have anything to hide from each other.

“Its fine, Stell. I had to get up anyway… wake me up whenever, I don’t care… yeah I promise…”

Trying to hold back the huge smile on my face was impossible considering the adorable scene in front of me.

“Is he talking to Stella?” Tess asked me.

I nodded. We exchanged a glance then ran into his room and tackled him in a bear hug.

“Aww, Jake is the sweetest guy in the whole world!” Tessa yelled.

I grabbed the phone out of Jake’s hand.

“Stella honey, you made a good choice.” I said.

“Jake here is a keeper.” Tessa smiled.

“Hey, Tessa. Hey, Lexi.” She laughed through the phone.

Jake snatched it away from me and put it up to his ear.

“Yeah… sorry about that. I’ll call you when we land… go back to sleep Stell… bye.” He muttered into the phone, trying to make sure we couldn’t hear him.

Tessa and I just laughed. He hung up and sighed, running his hand through his hair.

“Dude, why isn’t she your girlfriend yet?” I asked getting off of his bed.

“Because I haven’t asked her yet.” He said simply.

“Well what are you waiting for?! It’s obvious you guys are both in love with each other.” Tessa smiled pinching his cheek.

He grabbed Tessa’s hand and pulled it down.

“We are not in love.” He said.

“Yeah, yeah. You guys talk on the phone all the time. You’re like one of those old romance movies. No one talks on the phone anymore except for you guys.” I said.
