Ch.8- Netflix, Pizza, Games...

Matthew's POV•

"Okay got it. Thank you." Carter said.

He had just finished ordering 5 large pepperoni and cheese pizzas from Tom's Pizza and Subs. He also added two liters of soda to the order.

"Pizza will be here in 20 guys!" He announced, jumping over the back of the couch next to Jadyn. She giggled before beginning to play wrestle with Carter on the couch like bf/gf.

Meanwhile Shawn and Bridgid were upstairs in his room showing her his guitar and how to play. We could hear the strings of his instrument slowly strumming one of his favorite tunes.

After watching a couple of our favorite tv shows on Netflix, the pizza had finally arrived. The girls sat on the couch while we all gathered around the door and payed for the pizza. One by one we each carried 2 boxes to the coffee table where we all dove right in with paper plates and napkins.

"Oh my gosh this pizza is so good!" Meghan exclaimed. I chuckled at how excited she was over her food. There was one more thing that we both had in common.

After finishing up our pizza we all sat in a circle and began playing Candy Land, one of everyone's favorite childhood games.

"Hey, you can't take my turn!" Meghan giggled as I tried to steal a card without her noticing. I failed to do it secretly.

We were playing our 3rd game of Candy Land for the night, mainly because Taylor was determined to at least win one game.

"No I didn't, I simply replaced your spot for my turn." I smiled wide before jumping on top of her playfully. She laughed as we turned over in circles with each other.

"Ok, ok. Split it up Hansel and Gretel." Taylor told us laughing. Meghan just smiled and blushed shyly, pushing her hair behind her ear. God, why does she have to be so perfect?

"My turn!" Bridgid shouted. She picked up the card from the top of the stack and read it aloud. "Move back 10 spaces. Shoot!" Bridgid said sadly as she counted and moved her ginger- bread character back 10 spaces.

"Aw, it's ok fwuffy bunny."

Shawn teased poking her arm softly.

"Shut up!" Bridgid said giggling and falling sideways into his arms. They sat there playfully poking each other, laughing loudly.

"Jadyn since Shawn is busy gettin' it on with Bridgid, you can go ahead and take his turn." Carter joked.

"What? No!" Shawn shouted and laughed as he tried to sit up from up under Bridgid.

"Guys calm your body parts down, geez!" I yelled while falling on the floor next to Meghan laughing at my remark.

Soon enough everyone was falling on top of each other laughing their heads off uncontrollably. Honestly it felt like we all have known each other for years, like these girls are the ones that we have been waiting for to come into our lives. If it had to be anyone, I'm glad that it's them.

"We're gonna go get some more sodas from the kitchen." All four of us told the girls before standing up and leaving the room.

"Ok." They said before continuing browsing through Instagram on their phones.

"Ok guys we need to talk for a minute." Shawn alarmed us. "I have some good news and bad news." He paused as if waiting for us to ask.

"Well, what's the bad news?" Carter asked him impatiently.

Shawn breathed in a huge sigh before continuing. "The bad news is that we have to go to L.A. for our entire spring break to make up for the Magcon Meet we missed earlier this year. You know, when half of us were really sick. We leave this Sunday morning and fly back next Sunday night."

"Wait, what about the girls? Are you saying we won't get to seem them the entire week?" Taylor asked freaking out. He was obviously worried about missing Katie.

"This is unbelievable..." Carter said before taking a seat against the wall.

"Well, what's the good news?" I asked him trying to brighten the mood.

"The good news is that we each get to bring one person with us..." Shawn said as a smile crept up his face.

We all began cheering and jumping around out of happiness. We talked about who we were bringing and how we were hoping they didn't already have plans.

Once we returned to the girls in the room with one liter of soda, we told them the good news. All four of them jumped with joy and gave us huge hugs that nearly strangled us. This was seriously going to be the best trip ever.
