Katie's POV•

I sat in the passenger seat of Meghan's car while Jadyn and Bridgid sat in the backseats struggling to stay awake. We had on Top Hits Radio to try and keep us awake, but when Bridgid drifted off to sleep against the window, we realized it wasn't exactly helping. A few minutes later Jadyn fell asleep with her head leaning against the window too.

It was about a 15 minute drive from the Magcon boys' house. We had only been driving for about 5 minutes when Jadyn an Bridgid woke up from me blasting the radio on the highest volume.

"Aaahhh!" They screeched, holding their ears tight while cursing under their breath.

"Wake up sleepy heads!" Meghan joked laughing loudly.

We all decided that we were going to stay the night at my house. I had clothes and toothbrushes for them to use every time they come over.

"I take a left turn up here, right?" Meghan confirmed with me.

"Yeah." I told her as I laid my arm on the arm rest.

When Meghan pulled into my driveway, we all climbed out of the car lazily. We opened the trunk and pulled our backpacks out one by one.

I typed in the four-digit garage code before it opened, creaking and rocking back and forth. It opened up a little under a foot before stopping. We could hear the motor running and cranking before stopping.

"What the hell happened to your garage Katie?" Jadyn whisper-shouted to me.

"How am I supposed to know! This thing is probably like a million years old now." I whisper-shouted back to her. She just rolled her eyes playfully and sat down on the concrete ground.

"Just call your parents to open the door then." Bridgid suggested.

"They're not home. They went out to a party with one of their friends and they said wouldn't be back until really, really late." I explained to her.

"Don't worry guys I have my house key with me, we'll just go through the back door." I reassured them, hoping to remember to stuff it in my backpack before leaving this morning.

I dug my hand around inside for a few minutes, shining my phone flashlight in it to see. I couldn't find it anywhere.

"I must've left it on the table inside this morning, god damnit!" I cursed under my breath.

"Ok well now what?" Meghan asked impatiently.

"I don't know!" I exclaimed honestly.

I stopped for a second to think about what else we could try. Calling my parents to tell them we were locked out was definitely not an option.

"Wait! Guys I think I know what we can do to get inside!" Bridgid exclaimed with her eyes lit up. "Except it may not be the safest way..." She said as a frown spread across her face.

"This can't be good..." Meghan murmured under her breath.

And geez, was she right.
