Ch.6- "Frightful" Decisions

Shawn's POV•

We walked inside of the theater and found the girls sitting on a wooden bench waiting for us. Just then I realized they didn't have any tickets in their hands. 'That's right! I forgot, we never decided on a movie to watch, duh' I thought to myself stupidly. They stood up and began walking towards us.

"Hey guys!" They all shouted excitedly in unison.

"Hey ladies, how's it going?" We all replied while exchanging hugs. They had huge smiles on their faces showing that they were already having fun now that we showed up.

I couldn't help but notice just how beautiful Bridgid's smile was. It stuck out of all the girls' and I couldn't help but smile at just the thought of us dating. Ahh, cuddling up next to each other in front of the fireplace drinking hot cocoa.

"So, what movie are we gonna watch?" Katie questioned distracting me from my thoughts. She looked as if there were a few that she was interested in.

"Whatever you wanna watch sweetie." Taylor said to her grinning. Katie immediately began blushing and had to turn around to not be embarrassed. They obviously liked each other.

"I think we should see a scary movie!" I blurted excitedly. knew that Bridgid didn't exactly favor scary movies. Honestly I wanted her to be scared and bury her face in my arms to feel protected. 'Smart move' I thought.

"Yeah, I agree with Shawn guys." Matthew and Carter chimed in. I'm guessing they had gotten the message.

"I love scary movies!" Taylor shouted.

"What do you girls think?" I asked, slightly hoping they would say they don't really like scary movies.

"I don't really like scary movies though." They all agreed.

"Don't worry guys, we'll protect you and make sure your ok if anything pops out and scares you." Carter promised. I saw him wink at Jadyn and chuckled, as if he was directing the message towards her.

"Ughh ok fine." They all pouted. "But you guys are paying!" They giggled before running to the ticket booth.

We decided to buy tickets to watch Insidious 2, one of the scariest movies out right now. I bought Bridgid's ticket, Taylor bought Katie's, Matthew bought Meghan's, and Carter bought Jadyn's. After handing the lady our tickets, we laughed and skipped towards the concessions stand.

"Hi, I'll have 1 large popcorn, 2 medium root beers, and a large bag of skittles please." I told the nice lady behind the counter. I decided that me and Bridgid would sit next to each other so we could share popcorn. While we waited, we had a few staring contests that Bridgid lost almost every time. I loved watching her laugh and look down blushing. When she was happy, it made me happy.

After paying for our food, Carter walked up to the counter and ordered for himself and Jadyn. The whole time they stood there deciding what to order before laughing at how much food they both wanted to order. They payed, got their food, and made room for Matthew and Meghan to order next.

While the lady was preparing Meghan and Matthews popcorn, Matthew would make this ridiculous face that made Meghan laugh harder than she already was. I believe that they would make a cute couple along with Carter&Jadyn, Taylor&Katie, and Me&Bridgid. <3

After they purchased their popcorn and drinks, we quietly entered theater 13 and took our seats down a long row of empty seats near the middle.
