- Sunday Afternoon -

Shawn's POV•

"Everyone in?" I asked as I turned the cars ignition.

Yesterday and this morning, all four of us boys have been scrambling to pack up our belongings for the week long trip we're taking to L.A. with the girls. We're supposed to be meeting Aaron's new surprise girlfriend that he's been telling us about all month.

"Yeah buddy!" Taylor exclaimed next to me. "Let's get this show on the road!"

"Dude, calm the tits down!" Carter shouted crossing his eyes and sticking his tongue out. To be honest, he looked ridiculously hilarious.

All three of them began laughing as I chuckled and began backing out of the driveway.

After parking my car and walking our luggage into the airport, we immediately kept a sharp lookout for the girls. 10 minutes later, I spotted them walking in through the entrance a few doors down.

"There they are!" I shouted, pointing my finger in their direction.

"Hey guys!" They boasted while hauling their luggage to a stop.

I took an extra long look at Bridgid, observing her natural beauty. Blue eyes, brown hair, and a smile that brightens up a rainy day.

"Hi Shawn." She shyly smiled as she made her way through the boys over to me.

"Hey, Bridgid." I said, almost a little bit too excitedly.

"Holy shit!" Taylor interrupted. "It's 3:46pm, our flight leaves in 15 minutes!"

We pulled up our suitcase handles before tipping them backwards onto their wheels. "Forward and onward!" I yelled jokingly. Bridgid giggled cutely besides me as we all ran for our flight towards the security check.

"Baggage, check. Security, check." Matt went through his mental list of things needed to do before boarding the flight. "Bathroom, check. Food, che- oh hell nah guys we forgot food!" Matt began panicking while scavenging through his backpack for any signs of snacks.

"Check..." Katie called out across from me. She was holding open a bag full of small snacks and juice pouches for us on the plane.

"Thank God for this blessing." Taylor whispered as he bent down on one knee, closed his eyes, and held his hands together against his chest. We just laughed and made our way over to the flight gate.

"This is the plane to Los Angeles, correct?" I asked the attendant standing outside of the planes entrance.

"Correct you are!" She smiled back.

We boarded the plane just in time before they shut the door. Yes! Since the back of the plane was nearly empty, there were plenty seats for us to sit in just close enough to each other. Bridgid and I took a seat next to each other.

"So, are you excited?" I asked her while playfully poking at her arm.

"Excited for what, Magcon? The beach? Swimming? The list goes on." She said turning to me and smiling.

"Well I can't wait to do all that stuff when we get there... it's always fun whenever we go." I told her.

"Sooo... I've been meaning to ask you something..." Bridgid trailed off as a mischievous grin crept onto her face.

"What?" I laughed nervously.

"Have you ever... kissed a girl?" She added emphasis on the word kiss.

"Uhm... well I... once when... uhh..." I was taken aback by her question, causing me to studder and stumble over my words.

"Duuude I'm just messing with you." She reassured me, patting me on the arm a few times while laughing. I swear her laugh was music to my ears.

"Well I don't know about you boys, but it takes a lot of work to fit four hair straighteners, four makeup bags, and twelve pairs of shoes into four tiny little suitcases." She explained to me. A few seconds later she added on. "Kidding."

"Ok, ok, but you do know that all four of you girls are beautiful with natural hair, no makeup, and only one pair of shoes?" I smirked while she blushed. "Kidding." I added on, teasing the way she had just recently said it.

Her mouth dropped open and laughed as she hit my arm, harder and actually sorta hurting.

"Sorry, not sorry." She gave me a toothy grin as I massaged the spot on my arm that she hit.

"Frick you!" I whispered before we both began laughing.

Soon enough, we were both able to laugh ourselves to sleep.
