Katie's POV•
I watched Jadyn casually walk past Ella and Courtney as they gossiped about stuff no other 10th grader would even care about. Surprisingly they hadn't noticed Jadyn walking behind them holding the nasty smelling smoothie... right over their heads!
Jadyn pretended as if she had tripped on the chair leg behind them and "accidentally" spilled the smoothie ALL OVER THEM. Putting on her best innocent face, Jadyn managed to say something to them without bursting out laughing like the rest of us were.
"Oopsy daisy! Sorry, I guess I didn't notice the chair leg right there. I can't promise it won't happen again though because the chairs over here are always pulled out this far." She said.
Jadyn shrugged and continued to walk over to the trash can as if she hadn't just drenched the 2 most popular girls in the grade with a garlic onion smoothie.
Meghan and Bridgid were both able to keep straight faces and silently laugh into their arms while I sat there with my face burning red from tears of laughter at the "incident". Let me just tell you, I wish I would've left the table to laugh rather than right there with both girls piercing their devil eyes into my soul.
Before I knew it Courtney had stood up and stormed over to me, pulling my chair out and continuously swearing into my face. The words she decided to use flew out of her mouth so easily until it felt as if she used them on a daily basis. Ella stood up from the end of the table and shrieked with envy. I couldn't help but laugh more!
"Oh, so you think this shit it funny bitch? Shut the hell up slut before I slap you so hard I knock the shit out of you, you crazy little motherfucking bitch!!!" Ella screamed to me from the end of the lunch table.
Courtney had already grabbed a firm hold onto the collar of my t-shirt, ripping threads apart one by one. With her continuously screaming in my ears, I couldn't hold in my anger any longer. Before I could think about what I was doing, I stood up from the table and sucker punched Courtney right across the side of her nose. It started to drip blood as she cried in pain. I kind of felt a little bad for her... just kidding!
Bridgid, Jadyn, and Meghan each tried to push Courtney away from me, but they were also busy dealing with Ella tearing her high heel shoes off of her feet and chucking them one by one at their faces.
Meghan was half laughing and half pushing Ella away from her and Bridgid.
Now the entire 10th grade was busy watching us, screaming and hooting as if we were some animals that were being forced to fight against our will. Courtney tried to punch me back but missed by a landslide.
I couldn't help but wonder where in the world our night and shining armors were. If they really cared about us they would've been here by now.
Before I knew it a huge opening appeared in the circle of kids around us. In the blink of an eye, the Magcon Boys appeared and immediately started trying to pry away the two vicious monsters.
Taylor, Carter, Matthew, and Shawn were all able to pull Courtney and Ella away from us. Before I had time to think about what had just happened, Taylor came rushing up behind me and wrapped his arm around the side of my waist as he helped guide me through the crowd of people.
"Omg Katie are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened back there?!" Taylor's light brown eyes locked with mine as I could see how alarmed and worried he was.
"Uhm, my friend spilled her smoothie on them when walking behind them so I started laughing and she attacked me so I punched her in the nose... yeah." I said with a hysterical voice. I was seriously trying not to burst out laughing again just thinking about punching her in the face.
Taylor had unexpectedly engulfed me into a hug, breathing in the scent of his freshly washed Magcon t-shirt. I began laughing so hard that I cried. It was just so funny to me.
I heard shuffling feet behind me with the familiar voices following.
"Omg Katie are you okay?!" They all continued to ask me.
"Yeah yeah I'm fine." I said trying to get my breath back.
Not wanting to, I released my grip around Taylor's back to hug my friends. His hug had kept me warm and felt like my heart was burning happily inside.
"Omg Katie I'm so so sorry! I didn't know those two bitches would react like that." Jadyn explained. She looked as if she was on the verge of tears along with the others.
"It's ok Jadyn I understand you were just trying to help us out. Besides, she kinda deserved it anyways." I laughed harder trying to lighten the mood a little. Luckily it worked.

Me, Bridgid, Meghan, and Jadyn were carefully escorted by our Magcon crushes to the office. As we sat in the row of chairs, each boy made sure we were all ok, giving us occasional hugs that warmed our insides. I knew that the other girls wanted them to just snuggle up next to us and lightly kiss us on our foreheads.
I felt like I could spend my life with these boys, and I bet my friends felt the same.

After the whole lunch fight thing, me and the girls decided to all go home early to get some rest.
I shoved my books into my locker and wrestled with my backpack until it popped out. I nearly fall backwards not expecting it to slip out with such ease after adjusting its angle.
Closing my locker, I slip my earphones into my ears and begin playing songs from my Top 50 songs playlist.
I hoped my mom would already be back from work and have a delicious snack awaiting me on the counter.
