Bridgid's POV•

The next morning, I woke up to the weight of Shawn's muscular arms wrapped over my waist. He was still asleep and lightly snoring. Even after a long night of rest I could still smell his cologne. It took me every inch of strength not to lay here and watch him sleep.

Without trying to wake anyone up, I carefully lifted his arm to scoot off of the bed before placing his arm back down gently. Just as I turned away, the sheets were being moved around and I knew Shawn was awake.

"Morning beautiful." He said with his morning voice and gave me a small smile before standing up and stretching.

"Morning handsome." I mocked as I gathered my items to get ready in the bathroom.

"What time is it?" He asked me as he yawned and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

"Uh," I took a quick look at my phone's lock screen. "8:37am."

"Wow."

"What?" I questioned.

"Just early." He chuckled and yawned once again before shuffling over to his suitcase.

As I walked past Carter and Jadyn's bed, I saw that he slept in the same position as Shawn. On his side with his arm wrapped over Jadyn's waist. She didn't seem to notice. 'Do all boys sleep like that when there's a girl in the bed?' I thought to myself.

"Only the cute ones." Shawn winked as he pulled a plain white t-shirt over his head.

I must've said that out loud. My cheeks were probably extremely red right now.

Smiling widely, I walked into the bathroom and set my things down onto the counter. Just as I was about to shut the door, Shawn's head popped in.

"Don't take too long of a shower." He told me jokingly.

"No promises Mr. Mendes."

After 45 minutes of sharing a bathroom with 3 other people, we finally managed to get ready for the day. Really, the plan was simple.

•eat breakfast

•cruise around

•go to the beach

•fancy dinner

Yep, fancy dinner. Like dressing up. What happened to sweatpants tank tops and pizza, am I right?

Right before leaving, I quickly applied some makeup and brushed through my hair in the bathroom. I scanned my outfit in the mirror. High waisted shorts and a floral cropped top from Love Culture.

My shirt exposed the star tattoo just above my waistline. I lightly traced my finger around the outline of the shape before Shawn's voice startled me.

"I like your tattoo." He told me while briefly pointing to it. "Does it mean anything?"

"Uhm, it uh, well kind of, I mean, I guess? So, so yeah." He had caught me off guard, which explained the stuttering.

"Well I think it suites you perfectly." He said before disappearing out of the doorway.

I leaned over the counter to catch my breath before cooly leaving the bathroom. "Everyone ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Carter said jumping from off of the bed onto the floor. Jadyn and I exchanged looks that said 'what a goofball' before laughing and filing out of the room.

Shawn knocked on the other rooms door a few times. After a couple of seconds, we heard footsteps before the door clicked open.

"Gooooooood morning America!" Matt chimed as he spun around in circles.

Where did he get all of this energy from? We hardly got any sleep with the thoughts of the night rolling through our minds like a scary movie.

"Hey dude." Carter said as he held up his hand for a fist bump. Matt pondered for a couples seconds, then bumped his fist. "We cool?"

"Yeah man." Matt said as he bro hugged him. Glad they were able to work that out.

"You guys ready to eat or what? I'm seriously starving." Jadyn asked us from down the hallway.

"Let's roll!" Taylor's voice came out of no where as he skipped out of the room with Katie following. Matt shut the door behind Meghan before we took the long flight of stairs down to the main floor.

"I just got a text from Bart, he said the security guards and limo will meet us in the back of the hotel." Carter announced.

Once we got to the main lobby, we rushed out of back exit to avoid any crazed girls seeing us. We found ourselves standing in an alleyway between the hotel and a business building.

"So where are we eating breakfast?" I asked to break the silence.

"Wherever you guys want. We just decide and let the driver know." Shawn told me.

"I think IHOP would be good right now." Matt said as he licked his lips and rubbed his stomach.

"Or maybe the Waffle House?" Meghan asked. "I like waffles." She laughed.

"I'll eat anywhere as long as they sell pancakes." I told everyone.

"Agreed." They responded in unison.

We all stood around and thought of places to eat. A few minutes passed before the shiny white limo pulled up blasting music through the speakers.

"This is literally so cool!" Jadyn squealed.

The driver, wearing a bright white suite and silk gloves, got out and walked around the long vehicle before opening the door.

One by one we all filed into the limo and took a seat across from each other. There's a lot more room than what it looks like from outside.

"Where would you like me to take you for breakfast mister and misses?" The driver asked us once he closed the door and got back into the driver's seat.

"Surprise us James!" Taylor yelled. Well now I know the limo drivers name is James. How typical.

"Will do, Mr. Caniff." James laughed before turning the music back up and pulling off.

We all danced around in our seats and joked around and laughed about random things that made no sense.

Once the laughing died down, Shawn unlocked his phone and checked his recent text messages.

After a couple of minutes his smile turned into a frown. "Oh no..."
