Ch.7 -Screams of Terror

Taylor's POV•

After retrieving our popcorn and taking our seats, the movie began seconds later. While I sat next to Katie, Jadyn and Carter sat next to each other farther down. Past them was Shawn and Bridgid, then Matt and Meghan.

The movie started with a quick introductory of what the current event was and what was going on. There was so much reading until I nearly fell asleep. Luckily Katie tapped me on the arm before I did.

"Have you seen this movie before?" She whispered just loud enough for me to hear her.

"Nope, I haven't seen it. Why?" I asked her.

"Oh, uh no reason." She said faintly smiling before leaning back into her seat. I wonder what that was all about.

I could hear Bridgid and Shawn laughing like love birds a little bit farther into the movie. What did they find so funny about a scary movie?

An older couple, probably in their 20's, turned around from in their seats and shushed Bridgid and Shawn. All they did was begin to laugh harder. The guy was irritated, stood, and walked up the stairs a couple rows to us. They bent over the seat on top of Bridgid and Shawn, telling them if they didn't shut up he would report them to the manager and get them kicked out. Now that shut them up.

10 minutes later the move hit its scariest parts. Katie, Jadyn, Meghan, and Bridgid shrieked and screamed every few seconds, then burying their heads into the guys' arms. Us guys just laughed a little and held their heads against our chests, telling them it was all ok.

"Ahh! Omg where the fuck did she come from? Holy shit! Omg omg omg don't go in there... No!" Katie screamed before hiding her head into my chest. Slowly stroked her hair and tried to calm her down but I didn't think it was working that well.

After a while I could tell the guys' ears were starting to hurt from all the screaming the girls were doing. I was starting to think maybe a scary movie wasn't the best idea!

After the movie ended, we all retreated back outside of the theater where we talked for what felt like hours.

"Whoa guys, did you hear that?" Carter asked listening intently.

"Hear what?" We all asked him curiously.

"Just Listen." He told us.

We followed his orders and stood there for a second listening until Shawn spoke up.

"Uh, Carter? Sorry bro that was my stomach. I'm seriously starving." He said lethargically.

"Yeah, me too. Every time I tried to eat a handful of popcorn something would pop out at me and make me jump, dropping all of my popcorn on the floor!" Bridgid explained to us pouting.

"Same thing happened to me." The other girls admitted.

"Hey, I have an idea!" I announced. Why don't we all head back to our place and order pizza? We could all just hang out there for a few hours since it's only 9 o'clock!" I explained.

The girls looked at each other before happily agreeing with my idea. I'm so glad that they did because that gives us guys more time to get to know these beautiful girls that would hopefully soon be ours.
