A tear fell on Selena's hand, but she didn't even have the force to wipe it away. She patiently waited for the airplane, praying that it could arrive soon so that she could quit this city filled with memories. She never thought that it would be so hard leaving Justin in Washington DC. Why did she involve herself again? She didn't just play with his feelings, but with hers too.
"How could you?" roared a broken voice that she recognized immediately, stopping right in front of her. "How could you do this to me?"
Selena turned around and faced the man she loved, in tears. She didn't even know what to say, how to explain. She hoped that he'd chase her until the end, but it wouldn't change a thing. She couldn't tell him the truth about her identity, nor the mission. It was just like Demi with Ariana.
"You used me!" accused the security agent, crying as well. You are aware of how my past girlfriends used me, made me suffer, left me, but you're worse. Way worse. You made me fall so hard for you, and promised that you wouldn't hurt me because you're apparently not like them! Wait, a second, what are you doing? Leaving me IN MY BACK?!"
He sniffed unceasingly, trying to calm his rage down. Pushing her hand away when she tried to touch his shoulder, he seethed attracting the attention of many passengers: "You're a liar, Selena! A compulsive and shameless liar! I should've never believed in you!"
She didn't know what hurt the most: the fact that he called her by her real name for the first time, or the view of him crying.He never cries. He was, in fact, the strongest person she ever encountered. "I... Justin... It's not what you think... I promise that I'll be back!"
"That's what they all say!" He spat bitterly, blind with anger. "Guess what? They don't even remember my existence! I can't believe I fell for your oh-so-convincing words and your supposedly innocent soul! You're just like everyone else..."
Selena sobbed harder, not caring about the dozens of passengers eavesdropping with wide eyes, interested in some in real life drama scenes.

"I didn't mean to hurt you. It's not like that, Justin. I love you so much, just trust me!" She pleaded hopelessly, knowing she didn't have a chance.
Justin shook his head, deeply disappointed with her terrible apologies. He thought that she was finally the one, but he thought wrong. He also thought that he'd finally be loved, but again, the reality seemed so far away.
"I don't trust you anymore..."
He glanced at her, trying to memorize her angelic features so that he could at least keep an image of her in his head. She sobbed, so cajoled, she pleaded, but it wasn't enough for him to stay. Justin already made his decision and it was too late for their relationship to be saved.
"I love you," repeated the lost woman over and over again. "Please forgive me! I can't lose you!"
Justin swallowed with difficulty and did the hardest thing he'd ever done. he ripped off their promise ring and broke it right in front of everyone. He then locked eyes with her for a brief moment and turned away while ignoring Selena's urgent calls.
