Hello! Missed me? I missed you too. It hasn't even been a month yet. But, I already miss my characters and I feel like ending the book just like that was. . .terrible.
Well, for you guys anyway. For me, I think I'm satisfied with it as the author of the book.
I'm sorry about the title of this chapter by the way. I thought it was funny and eye catching.
Well, since we're all missing each other anyway, I have a little something for our guys.
It's a little way to show my gratitude and appreciation for all the things you've done. For every single read, comment, and vote.
It's not much but I hope it'll make up for such an ending.
Before I start, I published a new story called the Struggles Of Seeing Tomorrow. Just, letting you all know. You might find it a little interesting as well.
Ready?
------------------
Today, you will be reading unpublished and unfinished scenes! These are the short scenes that I wrote but didn't end up making the cut or I completely changed it. So, these will be unedited first drafts so brace yourselves. Don't worry, for less confusion, I'll guide you through it.
:: First off, here's something you've never seen before. It's short and I never got to actually finish it but, I wrote a draft and this is it! ::
Phillip's POV
I heard the sound of the familiar chime my phone gives off every time I received a new email.
Oh no. It's her again.
It was only the third day and I knew I was done with this. The school did not just force me to be friends with a stranger, they also invaded my privacy. It wasn't a direct invasion of privacy but it still bothered me. I didn't even have a choice if I wanted to reply or not. Because according to the school, I wanted to reply.
"Maven!" I called, not looking away from the television I was playing my video game on. The three of us were hanging out on Marge's hotel room and my phone was at the kitchen table behind me.
"Can't! Studying!" I heard Maven's voice come from one of the rooms.
"Marge!" I yelled as I pressed both the A and B buttons on my controller. "My phone, please."
I heard Marge's footsteps a few seconds later. Her flip-flops making slapping sounds against the tiled floor then it was silent when she started walking on the carpet.
She threw my phone on the couch and left immediately.
"Wait, what are you doing?" I asked as she was running back to where she came from.
"I'm trying to bake a cake!"
Considering how she could literally just call a chef from her kitchen staff to teach her, I wondered how she hadn't done that yet.
I paused my game and grabbed my phone beside me. I unlocked it and read Seventh's email.
Zerooooooo! I got Student of the Month! I am so happy!
I mean---
I still feel so happy and my face still turns red and my ears still heat up.
I just feel really great.
And if you remember, yesterday I was just talking about how my life is going downhill.
