Sarah's POV
Ge asked me out for karaoke. Even if we were with some friends, it meant omething for me. He called me to confirm if i was free. Fortunately, I was. When he asked me, of course, I was a little hesitant because I knew my mom won't let me. Kahit gusto kong umoo sa kanya, i knew my mom knew best kaya as much as possible, i'll consider her decisions. Pero matanda na ko, there were times that my mom let me decide on things and thank God, ginagabayan niya ako.
Gerald and I were talking on the phone when I saw my mom smiling. Aba aba aba. Anong meron ? Then I told Gerald that i couldn't go with him. He cut me off. "PINAGPAALAM NA KITA KAY TITA". Those were the exact words. Nagulat ako. Ginawa niya yun ? Oh my !! My heart was melting with happiness that i couldn't even hide it. He finally had the guts to talk to my mom.
I confirmed it to my mom with an Is-that-true look and she just nodded. Yipeeeee ! I was very happy that I couldn't keep myself from comparing him with Ray. No doubt, Gerald was more sincere than Ray. He was more sincere than anyone else.

I enjoyed our Karaoke soo much ! We sang in duet and I was very happy when I was able to convince to sing. He sang live !! Nice one Sarah :)
Then I chose to sing won't last a day without you, our movie theme song. When I was in the middle of the song, I found everyone seriously staring at me. I was flattered so I went down the stage and pulled Gerald up to the stage. I handed him one mic, but i never let go of his hand. He seemed surprise and shot me a "warning look' but I must shook my head and smiled knowing what that meant. We sang our movie holding hands and pasway sway pa. Everyone was clapping in pleasure. I even saw my mom smiling and laughing so I knew it was ok with her.

When we were at the van, my mom talked to me.
"I'm very happy for you. Just be careful ok?' Mom said.
"Thanks mom. I know i really have to be." I answered.
"You know, I don't want to see you in pain and crying again. I feel twice." She told me.
"I know Mom. And I thank you for being there always. Mom, why did you let him ?" I asked her.
"Kasi alam kong sincere si Gerald. He asked for my permission remember ? Ginagalang ka niya. Ako." Mom said.
"I never thought he'll do that. Masaya po ako mommy." I said.
"Alam ko anak. Nakikita ko" Mom said.
"Thank you Mom. I promised to be very careful" I said teary-eyed.
"You better be." mom answered. I hugged her..

When we reached home, i went directly to my room and prepared to bed when my dad came in and sat on my bed.
"You're mom told me. Be careful ok ?" He said and stood up. When he was halfway to the door,
"Dad. Thank You.I'll be careful. I promise. I love you." I said.
"I love you too" I heard him whisper and went out of my room.
Then I went to sleep, closed my eyes with a smile and said bye bye to one of the most happiest day of my life. :)
