Devo Nod was your best friend, and he worked at a local pizzeria for Rosalie and Joey Boca. He had time to get over his initial heartbreak when Rosalie decided to mend her marriage with Joey. Now, he spends more time with you on his days off.
"I still can't believe you shot someone!" You exclaimed, and Devo cringes at the memory.
"Please don't bring that up." Devo mutters, looking down at the salad you made for him. It's been a long process getting over Rosalie, but it's been working thanks to you.
"Sorry, I'm just shocked–that's all." You replied with a sheepish smile, taking another bite of the leafy greens.
"Yeah, I know. Sometimes I still can't believe the whole fiasco happened in the first place." Devo responded, gazing at you, taking in all your features.
He had to admit, you were incredibly beautiful, especially in your natural state. You would claim you were "too lazy" to wear makeup, but he didn't mind. He loved seeing you in your purest state, and seeing you so carefree around him.
"I got hired to work for the record store down the block from your work." You mention, finishing up the salad.
"Really?" Devo inquired, feeling a bit mirthful about the news. It would be nice to see you during his breaks.
"Yup! We can hangout more, during breaks, y'know? I love being with you." You revealed with a smile, and Devo swore he felt his heart skip a beat.
"Maybe we can see each other more like..." Devo spoke, his voice becoming a bit softly, almost silent as he trailed off his sentence.
"Like what?" You queried, raising an eyebrow.
"Like a date." He revealed, making you blush at the thought. You felt butterflies soar within in you at the thought. Devo was always kind and respectful towards you, and not to mention, he was cute as hell.
"Of course, I would love to go on dates with you." You answered, giving your most joyous smile at the blond across you.
Devo was your best friend and perhaps now, he'll be something more.
