Switching it up a bit
Zane's POV
The bell rang and the whole class stood and bowed. Finally the end of the day and it's Friday too so I have the whole weekend to myself. My and Syrus' parents are away this weekend visiting mum's sister as she's just had a baby so it was going to be pretty quiet.
Although living on take out food this weekend didn't seem appetising. I sighed as I walked out the door and saw that Syrus was talking to Emiko and Jaden outside the front gate. Syrus waved me over to them and smiled at me with his puppy eyes. "Can Emiko come over the weekend?" He asked causing me to blush.
"Why are you inviting people over without asking me first?" I grumbled but really I didn't want to seem eager and say yes right away.
"Well since mum and dad aren't here Emiko offered to cook for us tomorrow," he chirped.
Okay so I'll have the girl I'm currently falling for in my house, in an apron and cooking me a home cooked meal. My stomach is currently doing backflips with joy.
"I've learned a lot of recipes since I lived in America, it was all fast food so I learnt to cook," Emiko said giving her signature smile.
Okay, stop being adorable in front of me. My heart can't take it. "Sure you can come over," I mumbled turning my head away as to hide my blush.
"Sweet, give me your phone!" She ordered holding her hand out. I happily gave her my phone after unlocking it. It was then I quickly taking it back. I didn't want her to stumble on the picture of her in my photos that Atticus thought would be funny to put in there. Best friends huh? I quickly password the album before handing the phone back. Wait why does she want my phone?
She handed me my phone back before walking off with Jaden. "Text me your address. I'll be around for lunch time!"
I looked down and sure enough there was her number. A smiley face next to her name. Usually I'm cool and calm but right now I want to scream with joy.
This weekend was going to be a good one.
