Kathryn has spent her life living as the queen of Asgard after her father Loki left her. Finally she grows tired of waiting for him to come back and travels to earth.
When she arrives, SHIELD takes her in and drafts her to help with a growing problem. Then she is kidnapped by a handsome man and an evil group called the Elites, who have been secretly infiltrating SHIELD. While held in the Elites, Kathryn discovers someone she never would have thought to see there.
